I'm Sarah Collins, a girl from Portland who loves to play the violin.

Working late sucks right? Yeah definitely does. My mum would usually be the one to come pick me up but tonight she wasn't able to, it didn't bother my much. I had a short cut home anyway.

I waved goodbye to my boss before leaving the call centre, it didn't take me long to get home but my mum gets worried about me walking home late and when it's dark. I would always get on at my mum, 'I can handle myself' I would say but it wouldn't stop her overprotective self.

I had one earphone dangling down as I had one in my ear, feeling like dancing was installed down the ally. I was just focusing on my music and I didn't see the big group of guys in front of me, they still were to notice me.

I went to turn back, and go the long way home but it was to late because one of them called after me.

'Put on a brave face and show that you aren't scared' my mum's voice came to my mind.

I mustered up the bravest face I could, turning back around to face the group of guys.

"What's a pretty girl like you doing out this late?" A bald guy asked while smoking a cigarette.

"I just finished work." I replied.

I couldn't even count how much guys were there because there was loads, some paying attention to me and others just talking away within the group of people.

As a few walked closer to me, I still tried to keep a brave face but as one of the guys came right up close to me and took my earphone out, I felt like I lost all control.

"As, she's tending up," he said to the other guys, I could smell the alcohol off his breath.

I could hear some of the guys chuckle, and I froze as soon as one of them came into eye contact with me. He grabbed my face with his greasy hand and I shuddered at the feeling.

I plucked up the courage to grab him by the wrist and remove his hand from my face, it took all my strength.

His eyes went a dark grey colour and he grabbed me by the neck, spun me around making me drop my bag, I was trapped, my back against his stomach and my scared face was faced to all the other guys.

"Who wants dibs on this one?" He asked the guys, all attention was on me and I cringed at the was they all talked and looked at me like I was meat.

"She looks like my girlfriend." A middle age guy replied, he had short dark brown hair which was up in a quiff style.

"You got a girl so you ain't gonna get some." The guy said and chuckled my ear, it made me cringe.

I began to think that I'm not going to get saved and I'm going to experience this terrible event that anyone would dread, I might not even come out alive.

All eyes turned towards a door when a tall guy walked out, curly brown hair and green eyes.

"Oh here comes buzz kill," the guy with his arm wrapped around my neck groaned I my ear, if he had his arm any tighter I wouldn't be able to breathe.

"Let her go," the guy that just walked out of the door said.

"Fuck off Harry, you always gotta buzz kill everything."

"Nah, I just got respect for girls. Let her the fuck go." He said harshly.

I was free from the guys grip who's name I still did not know. I didn't hesitate for one moment to run, I just ran out of the alley and ran as fast as I could home without stopping.

When I got home, I went to open the door but it was locked, it was then I realized that I left my bag in the alleyway.

That's when I decided to call my mum, it was after a few tungsten she picked up, "Hi babe, what's up?"

"When will you be home?" I asked.

"I'm on nightshift at the hospital." She replied.

"Okay, I was just wondering. Ill see you tomorrow, bye." I rushed and hung up but now I really have no idea what to do, I will definitely not be going back to the alley, and may I add never again.

I decided on going to Cassie's for the night and I knew she wouldn't refuse me. I knew I was safe for tonight.
