Shall I hold your hand now
And together we’ll take a walk
On the soft, powdered earth
Sprinkled with morning dew
All day long we’ll just talk
And grin, and laugh, and hug
Or motionlessly we just lie
And watch as clouds pass by
Hours maybe too light
And lightly it will pass
For I will never take away
My gaze upon your lovely face
Illuminated by your eyes
Breathless as a rose
You are my midnight sun
My mist and twilight
My water and fire
My placidity and desire
Only for you I see
The beauty of a smile
The wonder of a song
The pleasure of a kiss
Forever will my love flow
To a place where you go
And this I promise, my sweet
Only for you my heart beats!
