Chapter 3

I picked up the things from the table and stuffed them neatly into my backpack. Jihoon and Woojin had dance practise so I had to go home alone. I was finishing closing the backpack when I realized that all the others had gone, except Daniel who had fallen asleep during History "Why no one has woken him ul?" I asked myself as I approached his table. His face was resting on the desk and his arms hung at his sides. I had to admit that he looked very adorable, as adorable as when Jihoon winked. What was wrong with me? I immediately shake off that thought from my mind  and patted Daniel's shoulder lightly, but Daniel did not flinch. "Daniel, wake up, the classes are over," I said softly. I had to repeat the sentence several times until Kang finally woke up. I turned around to leave when he suddenly grabbed my arm. Startled I turned toward his direction and met a smiling Daniel. "Thank you," he said. "No need to, I'll see you tomorrow," I replied, a little stunned. Daniel released my arm and I hurried to the exit while I prayed that he had not noticed it. I was reading, already sitting on the bus, when I noticed that someone was sitting next to me. I looked up from the book and found Daniel's eyes. "What are you reading?" He asked as he pointed to my book "Do you like to read?" I answered while raising an eyebrow, Daniel did not seem like the kind of person who will enjoy the reading. "What's with that face?" He said laughing. " So you like it?" I repeated smiling. "Mmm the truth is no, but I wanted to talk to you and I did not know how to start a conversation" He said as he pulled his pink hair back."Which one is your stop?" He asked  "The next one," I replied, smiling. Daniel was very nice and the truth, being the shy person I was,  he made me feel very comfortable around him. " Oh seriously?" He replied excitedly. "Yes," I said as I laughed at his reaction. "We live in the same neighborhood, if you want I can walk you home as a way to thank you for waking me up." "No problem, you do not have to thank me, but if you want to, I accept your invitation," I said, smiling. We walked to my house silently, though it was not an uncomfortable silence, but rather a comforting one.
