It was a normal day for Oswald. Waking up, not eating, cuddling the kids and sleeping.
This has been the normal ever since sometimes around May. His wife had died suffering, and now the scene replays in his head.

"Ortensia... P-please just... Hang it here. Y-youre gonna be okay..."

"Oswald... Please.. Smile, for me?"

He froze, but forced a smile onto his face.

"I'm smiling honey, see?"

As he wiped the ink out his lovers eyes, he realised that the smile on his face wouldn't be returning.

"Ozzy? Are you okay? Ozzy?"

He turned his head to the familiar voice of his brother.

"Hm?"

He coughed a bit, still getting used to speaking. After all, he became totally mute after the funeral.
Mickey held in his hands some of Donald's pancakes. They were his favorite.

"I brought you breakfast if your hungry. "

"Oh. Thanks Bro, you know you didn't have to. "

Mickey looked at him, hope twinkling in his eyes.

"Nah, don't sweat it! If you need me, I'm in the kitchen! "

With that, Oswald was left alone in his room again. He ate a few pancakes. His thoughts of Ortensia returning, he turned to their old bed. He thought of her smile, and the way she looked when thy'd first met. Her black dress drew him to her. He decided that, maybe, he'd go see the place they'd first met, while he was in town.

---
He waited till nightfall, as not to have his brother follow him out of worry. As his brother went off to bed, he walked for the door, before heading out into the town.
Oswald turned a few blocks before finding the place.

'The Bunny Bar.'

He walked in, instantly getting a sense of nostalgia. He smiles as he remembered seeing Ortensia for the first time. Then, his eye caught another girl. Her straight brown hair had a blue streak, her black dress tight against her body. She was in the same outfit as Ortensia that first night.
She'd felt his eyes on him, and turned as she smiled at him. Blush covered his face. His head turned as he grabbed his ears to cover his burning cheeks. The girl walked up to him, her hands behind her back as she smiled gently.

"Hey! I noticed you looking at me, care to chat? "

He froze for a second, her voice was intoxicating.

"S-sure. Sorry about that."

She giggled, drawing him toward her even more. His heart beat began to increase.

"Okay then. Come on, I'll buy you a drink!"

She'd walked with him over to the bar, waving to the bartender and holding up a number 2. The man nodded, walking over to his shelf. Oswald figured he should try to make conversation.

"My names Oswald."

She looked back at him as their drinks were placed on the counter.

"Names Nice, but you can call me Nicey."
