While the boys were serenading out the audience, Lena pacing behind the stage, her sweat starting to dampen her clothes and mat her hair down a little bit. There plenty to be nervous about tonight, there always was, but tonight was the first night she'd be performing live in front of a lot of people since January when she had done a New Years event in LA.
She was feeling the pressure her situation with Michael. Everyone was telling her to make a move, that it wouldn't be a big deal. And even though it was technically against her contract, it would be up in two weeks she would free. Michael, however, was a different story. If he made the band there would be other contacts him to sign and if he didn't, well, no one wanted to think about not making the band.
A hand her from turning around again to continue her pacing Lena jump slightly, but she calmed down when she heard the voice. "We're not supposed to, but let's go stand in front of the fan." Lena turned and smiled gratefully at Michael, letting him guide her over to the giant fan by the mirrors.
"Any advice?" She asked him which caused him to laugh, thinking she was joking. But when hear her laugh with him he dtpped, looking over to her. "I haven't done this in I think six months, so I might be a little rusty."
"Lena," he started, turning to face hey completely, "you have a beautiful voice, you are going to be insane up there and do so well."
"Thanks Michael." She smiled widely at him, quickly trying to decide if she should say something else when Ginger, one of the makeup artists, called her name.
"We've got to touch up your makeup before we go live."
