"Haylee," someone says to me but I just groan and turn over in my sheets.
"Haylee, get up." they say again but i just groan once more.
"HAYLEE!" I sit up quickly to reveal the wonderful face of Jason Andrews. I roll my eyes and fall back down onto the bed, smacking my face right into my pillow as I do so.
"We have school Hay, get up," he says pulling my arm up and I cover my face with my hands. "You have fifteen minutes."
"What!? Why didn't anyone wake me up sooner? I never wake up this late!" I throw the covers off and go to pop a Jolly Rancher in my mouth, going straight to the closet. I could've sworn I set my alarm.
"Ooo can I have one?" Jason asks moving toward my desk to snatch one out of the jar.
"Touch them and you die," I warn with a glare
He holds his hands up and slowly backs out of the room. "Okay, someone is a bit defensive about their candy."
"Yes, I am. Now get out!" I say and slam the door in his face.
I shake my head and pull out a random outfit that looks suitable enough to wear to school and throw it on quickly. I pull a brush through my hair and put it half up since it's too much to deal with and don't have the time to. begetting into the shower right now. I choose not to straighten it either and let the natural beach waves do what they want. I put on a little light makeup until I'm happy with my appearance and I grab my book bag, making sure to stuff at least five Jolly Ranchers in the side pocket. I grab my phone and make my way downstairs. When I get downstairs all the boys are in pajama pants and no shirts while. Everleigh is in her nightgown from last night and eating breakfast.
"Why aren't any of you dressed?" i ask confused about why they don't seem to be in nearly as big of a rush as I am.
"Pay up," Jackson says to Wes and Jason and I give them a quizzical look.
"I'm confused," I say in all honesty, looking between all of them.
"Oh, school doesn't start for another twenty minutes. We just wanted to see if you could get ready in fifteen minutes since you're little miss perfection," Jason says with a smirk.
"I said you wouldn't," Wes says and hands Jackson a twenty.
"I said you wouldn't too," Jase says and hands Jack a twenty also.
"I said you would," Jack says to me with a wink. "No way would you be late for school."
"You guys bet on me!?" I screech. I could be asleep right now but instead these assholes decided I needed a rude awakening to my morning.
"It's nothing new." Garrett says. "They best on me and Jon all the time."
"It's annoying." Jon mutters and stuffs his face with a spoonful of cereal.
"They are used to do it to me, but you're here now," Ryder says with a smirk. "get comfortable Haylee."
"Morning Kids." Gia says coming in with a baby on her hip. "This is Vince." she says to me smiling at her precious baby.
I nod. "he's so adorable."
"He's not adorable when he's screaming at two in the morning." Wes mumbles. "I'm getting dressed. Kitten, you're riding with me Everleigh, and Ryder."
"You can ride with the twins or Wes," Gia says to me with an eye roll. "You don't have to listen to him."
"I'll go with the twins considering they're in my grade and I have first period with Jase anyway." i say and glare at Wes who is glaring at me in return. Ass.
