Because that's where the story starts,
That's when the feelings hits,
Silent screams but the words won't come.
Fear does not overcome itself,
The crowd still fluster me,
I can hear a thousand hearts pounding,
Is mine the only one that skipped a beat?
Maybe home can eventually make me feel safe,
But being alone will soon turn to being lonely.
No I can't see myself in the daylight,
Sometimes the sun shines a little too brightly.
