I had arrived at my new apartment in L.A. It was pretty clean apart from the boxes, furniture, and random clutter. I put down my bag and began unpacking. I saw a note, it read: The rest of the furniture will come tomorrow. By evening, most of the boxes were gone. I sat down on my desk chair to rest for a bit. But the peace didn't last long.

I heard loud music from next door. I didn't mind at first, but if you were on a plane for 5 hours without any sleep, you get cranky. I decided to go and tell my neighbors to keep it down.  I changed into a black sweatshirt with white stripes around the elbow and some denim shorts. I grabbed the keys to my apartment and went out the door.

As soon as I arrived at my neighbor's door, the music was even louder. I knocked. Nobody answered. Maybe they can't hear me, I thought. I banged on the door. I heard a voice inside.

"I'll get it," the voice groaned.

The door opened. A guy about my age, maybe a year older, answered the door. He had hazel eyes with golden brown hair. I stared at him for a second and shook my head back to reality.

"Uh, sorry to bother you but-" I stammered.

"Hold on," he interrupted. "Before you say anything, I am so sorry for the loud music. I told my roommate to quiet down, but he's a bit wild." He chuckled. His chuckle was like music to my ears. He's a bit dreamy- wait, what am I doing? I JUST MET THE GUY! Besides, I have a boyfriend back in Manhattan.

"Yeah, that was sorta what I came over to tell you,"

"I'm truly sorry. The name's Tyler, by the way," he held out his hand for me to shake. Before I even shook his hand, his roommate yelled.

"Hey!" his roommate came over to the door. He had chocolate brown hair and eyes. He was wearing an Adidas shirt that looked like he spilled something on it. "Who are you talking to?" He looked over and observed me.

"Well, hey beautiful," he said.

"So, you're the roommate who's disturbing my peace,"

"Yup, the one and only, peace destroyer,"

I laughed at his little joke.

"Ahem," Tyler said. "Introduce yourself."

"Oh, I'm Leo"

"Well, Tyler, Leo, my name's Lilly. It's nice to meet you, but I have to go finish my packing. More furniture is coming tomorrow, so I have to get a good night's sleep,"

"We can help carry the furniture if you would like," offered Tyler. What a gentleman, I sighed.

"I can't. I'm playing video games with my-" Tyler elbowed him in the stomach, but Leo didn't quite get the message. "Ow! Why'd you do that for? I was going to say that I was going to play games with my friends!"

Tyler groaned, probably because of his roommate's stupidity.

"Sure, come around 9 in the morning," I told Tyler. "I'll see you then. Good Night,"

Tyler and Leo waved goodbye. I walked back to my apartment, smiling. I hopped onto my couch - my bed hasn't arrived yet - and fell asleep

A/N: Hi! Well, wasn't this a nice chapter? I thought it was nice. I hope you like it! :)
