I was pinned up against the wall. I opened my eyes to see Audrey holding me up by the shirt. Her eyes were filled with anger.

"A-Audrey?" I stuttered.

"What did you do with him?"

"Him? Who-" I realized she was talking about Tyler. "I did nothing, just hung out with him,"

"Oh, sure. You probably made out with him while you were there,"

"What? No! Besides, why do you even care?"

"Ugh, I was hoping you weren't going to ask," She sneered. Her hands moved up to my neck. I tugged at them, hoping to escape. "But, if you blab, someone is going to get hurt."

"I'm only dating Leo because he's roommate with my high school crush, AKA Tyler. I was hoping to drug him-"

I muttered, "Crazy," But that only made her squeeze my throat.

"-and try to seduce him. But no, you had to get him away. That's it, but if you blab, I'm leaning on hurting Tyler," She dropped me on the floor. I laid there gasping for air. "Emotionally, not physically."

"You're crazy. Leo deserves better," I said between gasps.

"Oh, honey, I know." She stood up and walked out. Leaving me laying on the floor.

-The next dayyy (i'm too happy, oml)-

I fell asleep, crying last night. I was sleeping until someone hopped onto my bed. I woke up and blinked a few times to see the blurry figure of Tyler.

"Good mublieng," I was supposed to say good morning, but my sleep kind of took over.

"Aww, did I wake you up from your beauty sleep?" he asked.

"Mhm," I pulled the covers over my face.

"I made pancakes,"

I pulled the covers down. "With chocolate chips?"

He nodded and left the room. I stood up quickly. I walked out the door and sat at the kitchen island. Tyler put a plate of pancakes in front of me.

"How'd you get in here, anyway?" I asked with my mouth full of pancakes.

"Oh, I found the spare key," he said simply. "Seriously, you need to find better hiding places,"

I rolled my eyes and finished my pancakes. I realized Tyler was observing me.

"What?"

"Where'd you get those bruises?" he asked, pointing to my neck.

"What bruises?" I turned on my phone and looked at my neck. Oh shoot, I thought. Should I tell him? I shouldn't, he could get hurt.

"Oh, these? Uh, I think I slipped on water and my neck hit the counter," I lied. It wasn't a complete lie. I am clumsy.

"You ok?" I nodded. I just noticed my roses on the counter. One of the petals already fell off. I put my plate in the sink and sat on the couch. Tyler sat down beside me.

"Can I ask you a question?" he asked.

"Sure,"

"Will you be my girlfriend?"

"Took you long enough to ask," I laughed. I hugged him tight and then we watched Netflix.

-Leo's POV- (haha, didn't expect that did you?)

Audrey's been acting strange lately. She always wants to go over to Lilly's apartment to see what she's doing. I'm not saying that I have a problem with it, but it just seems weird.

She started acting like this when I asked her if I could go to Manhattan. She started asking about who's going. She talked about Tyler a lot, too. I kind of feel like she likes Tyler more than me.

In the evening, I got text messages from. the group chat.

-group chat convo-

-end of group chat convoo-

I was really happy for them. I grinned ear to ear. Audrey noticed me smiling.

"What're you so happy about?" she asked.

"Oh, Tyler and Lilly are a thing now," I replied simply.

"W-What?" I swear she looked angry for a sec. "I mean, tell them congrats for me,"

She got up and left without even saying goodbye.
