*Ryan's POV*
I was not easily lost for words but this was one of those rare times. I locked eyes with the girl and saw her warm chocolate brown eyes widen slightly when she saw me and took me in.
She was a tiny little thing but not as small as Tia. She had beautiful long curly hair and skin the color of mocha. She smiled warmly at me and I think I may have melted into my chair. I was not a person who smiled, I smirked. But I felt my mouth curling up at the sides when she smiled back at me.
"Stacey! Where have you been?" Tia exclaimed, "You missed the whole story about Ryan beating up Bobby!" she waved her hands excitedly.
Stacey's eyes widened a little more and Tia giggled at her reaction, "What happened?"
I rolled my eyes and muttered, "It wasn't that big of a deal. Tia's just playing it up into something bigger than it actually is."
Everyone looked at me again and I started bouncing my knee out of anxiety. James noticed and averted his gaze to the food Nicole gave him since we didn't bring any.
"He punched him in his mouth and slammed him into a desk which broke in two," Jeremy stated matter-of-factly.
I rolled my eyes, "Thanks, Jeremy"
"No problem, McCoy," he smirked.
"You slammed Bobby into a desk?" Stacey asked incredulously.
"Which broke," Raphael said.
"In half," Maxine added.
"Like a grape." Nicole finished.
Maxine rolled her eyes, "That's not the reference Nicole. Flynn says 'like a grape' when he's referring to her soul, it's two completely different things"
Nicole flipped her off, "His name is Eugene, not Flynn"
Jeremy face-palmed, "Are you guys seriously arguing about this?"
James patted his arm, "Now now, just let the kids work it out,"
Maxine and Nicole continued to argue on whether or not it was appropriate to call him Flynn Rider or Eugene Fitzherbert.
Where in the hell did I find these people?
Well, things could be worse. You could have no friends.
Very true, subconscious. Very true.
Suddenly I felt an arm brush against mine and I looked up at Stacey's smiling face. She sat down and leaned towards me and said, "So, I guess your Ryan, right?"
I nodded, not able to form coherent sentences due to her proximity.
I mean I can't blame you she is beautiful.
Probably has a boyfriend, doesn't she?
You don't stand a chance.
"Well, I'm Stacey Graham it's nice to meet you, handsome," she winked and I chuckled.
Ha, subconscious you can kiss my ass.
