I sat down on the black couch I had become so familiar with.

I didn't wanna look too comfortable as me and Keenan were nothing but ex's.

He looked up at me from his seat, with raised eyebrows.

"So what are you gonna do about it?"

He asked.

"What?"

"The baby"

"What do you mean?" I asked, confused.

"You keeping it or nah" he straight up asked me.

I glared at him as if he had challenged me to something.

"What's that supposed to mean? You tryna suggest something nigga?"

I snapped at him while standing up.

"Aye ma chiiiill. I weren't tryna suggest shit I don't know why you acting up. Sit down we talking ain't we?"

He looked up at me till I sat back down.

"I'm sorry," I'm mumbled, not making direct eye contact.

"I got a lot on my mind at the moment" I continued.

"And you think I don't?" He asked

"Shit!" He said standing up and covering his face with his hands.

"If you decide to keep this baby,"

He started but I interrupted him.

"Who says it's my decision?" I asked.

"Well if you wanna abort it then it's whatever I mean I can't push you to carry the baby inside of you if you don't want to and neither can I force you to kill the child living inside of you."

I think that's the smartest, most sensible thing I've ever heard him say.

"Like I was saying, if you decide to keep it, do you understand what that means for me?"

I blinked at him.

"Don't even start with all that ' I gotta be the man and earn money for my family' bullshit. I can look after this baby by myself. I do not need no nigga to depend on." I spat out.

He stared at me.

"Maybe that's what how you feel but my mama didn't raise me like that." He shrugged.

"Where you gonna get the money from?" I asked.

"Don't worry about where I get it from or how I get my money ." He raised his eyebrows.

"Stop tryna act all suspicious and mysterious and shit." I snarled

"All you need to be is happy that imma give money"

I already knew that Keenan had been part of the "street business" for a few years. As a matter of fact once Keenan and I fought after I found out he had sold coke to one of the teachers at Tia's school. He promised me that he didn't know he was selling to a teacher and that he would leave the streets.

But recently I became aware that he's still trapping, I just wanted to know if he would confess his sins to me or not.

I dropped the topic there and checked my Instagram on my phone.

" Does your nigga know?" Keenan asked, interrupting my scrolling.

"Know what?" I asked the obvious while putting my phone down.

I didn't want to think about telling Tyrone. I wasn't ready, and to be honest I was kinda scared. What if he drops me and runs away when I tell him.
