THE SPENDING HABITS OF A BLACK MAN. Now I would not normally do this but it's the truth, this is what I've realised with guys. There was a post that I read and it was comparing how much a guy spends on themselves compared to a woman. A man could own jeans worth £50 just because it's a branded jeans whereas a woman can spend £30 or even £15 on a dress and still look good.
Now black men everywhere love to look good, we all do but some black man literally go out of their way to buy up an expensive lifestyle that they just can't afford which is sad.
There was a documentary on the rise of gangs in Britain, of course they interviewed black males but there was also Asian gangs, female gangs etc. All of them lived in poverty and some wanted a lifestyle that they couldn't have just yet at their young life.
Now they would go to gang to make quick money because they saw their friends have and want it to. That's dangerous. They literally kids copying each other and not understanding the dangers of being in a gang. 14 year old went to jail or even worst killed on the streets.
Gang violence don't always happen in America.
The spending habit of many black men. If you're not like that it's okay. The spending habits are horrible, some black men go ahead and spend their money on shoes or expensive belts when they could just buy a belt for half the prize, save their money and have their lifestyle later.
It's just confusing to me.
Now most black men are taking the easy route because they earn less, look at the statistics, black men would be literally working harder than most men but they wouldn't get the money that they deserve. It's sickening.
I believe that black men are aloud to act dangerously in their spending habits because they've got this pressure to be the money maker throughout their life and to be on top of things when it gets the best of all of us. They don't have a break.
There's this imagine. That we all have in our head.
We think of black men being really powerful men, dominant. Black men are lacking education on spending, everyone is really. Schools fail to tell their students how to set up a bank account or work or if they are unpaid what they should do. Some of us don't understand money conversion and the deal of money.
As I was saying, a black man always has to stay on top of things and so if he spends on the brands to show that he's better than the stereotypes and just to look good.
So that's the short economics of a black man.
