Chapter 6: The Night Bird

It was a sunny day in the afternoon yet schooling, the students listening to the teacher about their subject, but it's not what really they focus. One of the students tap their index finger softly on the table, the other one swaying the pen like a tick-tock clock, and the other is pause and drop of a serious sweat on their face like ready for something... The teacher feels that this room is full of aura where the students mumbling themselves and out of free air, then the teacher says to them

"Okay class, assignment for the next meeting. Find your partner and make a poem of what are you thinking to your partner as your personal and the deadline is Monday." Then the bell ringed and the teacher arranged to her books and she hold it "Class dismissed." Then all the students rushed out to the door and leave the school, not really all but it also the other students leave normally towards to home except Kaito, Aoko and the teacher who left behind the room and Keiko is also leave in a walk

"What was just happened here? And why they leave in such a hurry...?" The teacher asked then Keiko answered

"It's because today is the grand opening shop at the building ma'am."

"What kind of shop?"

"Breads, Cakes and Coffee shop ma'am."

"Then, so what?"

"They have promos of buying 50% discount since they grand opening." then she spark of her eyes "And also, they release the new kinds of bread and cakes that I want to taste it!"

"Really?!"

"But unfortunately, I'm so slow to get it." She sigh as disappointed and the teacher tap to her shoulder and smile

"Don't worry Momoi-san, I'll come with you besides, I'm same as you." Then her frown face turns blooming and sparkling eyes once again

"Wah! Thank you so much ma'am!"

"Then let's go!"

"Yeah!" Then she turn around to Aoko "Are you coming with us, Aoko?"

"Ah no, I have something to do. I'm sorry Keiko."

"Nah, it's okay Aoko... Well then see you on Monday!"

"Yeah... bye!" Then they waved to each other and the 2 student are also leave the room but they stop at the gate school.

"Aoko, why you don't come with them?" Kaito asked

"Oh, I got invitation from the unknown." Then she showed the black letter.

"What's that?"

"It's invitation for dinner from my dad, my dad is supposed to be a guest but he's got busy to do for his case so I take it as the representative and daughter of Inspector Nakamori..." she put her fist on her chest as a proud and excited with a smile.

"And then? When you are going?"

"Tomorrow night. Will you come with me?"

"No thanks, I have something to do that day..." Straightforward to his answer and his face annoying to her.

"Oh... I see..." When they reaches to their house.

"I gonna go now, see ya next week."

"W-wait Kaito!"

"What?"

"Don't forget that we paired for our assignment and we make that tomorrow."

"Yeah-yeah..." he walk towards to his house main door

"Tomorrow at 8:00 in my house!"

"Ok.." then Kaito close the door and she thought herself 'That was unusual. He was supposed to be come along with me... '
