One rainy Wednesday morning changed our relationship.

I had forgotten to take my umbrella with me,

Causing me to get drenched in the rain.

I stood in the train station, with raindrops rolling down my face.

I searched my bag for a hankerchief,

Only to find nothing.

As if on cue,

A hankerchief was shoved in my face.

When i looked up,

I saw your tomato red face.

"You need it, don't you?"

I cleared my throat and muttered a thank you.

I awkwardly took the hankerchief from your hands.

You stared at me while i was trying to dry my arms.

Daehwi nudged you,

And you immediately put out your arm in front of me.

"Hi, I'm Park Woojin. Let's be friends."

My heart screamed in joy.

You grasped my hands tightly,

And held it for a long time.

Maybe a simple meeting at a train station.

Could blossom into something more than friendship.
