The world of spirits, the invisible entities, the greater power that rules over the mere human beings, these are just a few to be named. The general idea of what it is, believed by a major percentage of the human race despite stories differing according to the place and even religious beliefs. But what most believe in are there are two polar opposite powers.
A very common example would be angels and demons.
One being at the absolute highest level of kindness, heart filled with care and even integrity. While the other, being a total opposite. Wanting chaos and loving the concept of destruction and creating remorse in the hearts of humans.
But well, this is just a made up by elders so their descendants would follow the rules they had created. Or that's what he had thought.
He was never really the one to believe in the existence of angels and demons, let alone fairies and unicorns. He was also not the biggest believer in fate and hope.
"Dude, were you not listening to what I was telling you about?" his friend asked once his close to zero interest facial expression became clear.
His friend who was only older by a few months didn't wait for an answer. A heavy sigh left the older lad as the younger just stared into the horizon.
"I know you don't really believe in what I believe," he stopped to ensure that the younger one was listening and a short hum left the younger's mouth signaling that he paying attention.
"But at least listen to when I want to tell about my dreams or the strange occurrences I've been facing lately. It's not like I have anyone else to tell."
"Talking to you is just the same as I'm talking to my laundry while trying to hang them to dry."
But his words were only replied by another hum. Silence hovered around the air and as if time had stopped for them.
"You know for a fact that I don't believe in such stuff," the younger spoke, breaking the short period of silence.
"So it's just, I guess normal for me to have no interest in what you're talking about. Just go tell this to your, I don't know, neighbour or some busybody talkative aunties around the block. I'll get going now. See you tomorrow."
Slinging the right strap of his backpack onto his right shoulder, he walked away from his friend and waved goodbye without even looking back to his friend.
A series of sigh left his mouth as he recalled on the days where his friend would come up to tell him of the tales of some entities. His lightly throbbing head was a sign for him to stop thinking of such.
The throbbing felt like stabs through his skull and his steps came to a stop. Eyes closed tightly, the darkness he saw was suddenly filled with bright strokes of white light. His pulsating head made him loose his sense of consciousness.
As the painful experience grew in its intensity, his hearing had become so sharp that he heard an extremely loud honking sound. Forcing his eyes to open, he could clearly see a vehicle coming towards his way.
His life was coming to an end. He was sure.
In a split second, he found himself suddenly in the middle of a forest.
"Is this where people end up once they die?" he questioned to himself.
"Well, no."
He snapped his head to the direction he thought he heard the subtle whispered answer but all he could in all directions were trees. He was in the middle of a very thick forest.
"Hello," said a shadow that emerged from behind on of the trees.
He stood still as he witnessed how the shadow turned into a cloud of black puffy smoke which soon became a solid mass that resembles a human that utterly changed to what seems to be a male human.
