Gordie felt light streaming onto his face, and groaned.

"Ugh, Y/N. Whyyyyyyyyy?" Gordie rolled over and stuffed his face into his pillow. So Y/N yanked the pillow out from under his face.

"Owww." Gordie sat up and rubbed his nose.

"Rise and shine, Gordo." Y/N said as she gathered her sleeping bag, pillow and sketches.

"I may rise, I will not shine." Gordie groaned and gathered his things as well. He opened the tent and stumbled out.

"Shut up." Y/N said as she climbed out of the tent zipping it back up.

"I don't shut up, I grow up, and when I look at you , I throw up!" Gordie remarked. Y/N rolled her eyes and started packing up the tent. "Come on , leave it Y/N. You know Mom and Dad won't care. We should get a move on if you want to get to the treehouse before it gets too hot."

"Sure, let's go." Y/N gathered her drawings and walked about three steps before turning around and saying, "I'm still in my pajamas."

Both twins got dressed and headed towards the treehouse.

Teddy and Vern had already lost the money they had in their pockets to Chris while playing thirty one, so Teddy was pouting while Vern ate some of his Pez.

"You know what guys," Vern started, "I thought I found my pennies this morning, but it turned out to be a piece of piping."

"That's too bad Verno, 'cause if you brought the pipe here we could play one more round of thirty one." Teddy remarked , still sulking in the corner while Chris smirked.

Chris enjoyed playing with his friends, mostly because they were shit at thirty one, but also because it made him forget about reality for a little.

Chris almost fell back off of the box he was sitting on when Gordie knocked on the door.

"Guys let me in, I got a surprise."

Chris sighed and moved the table with his winnings on it to the side while Teddy looked at his lost money with a sad face. The door opened and Gordie climbed through with Y/N not far behind.

"Y/N!" Vern exclaimed. The boys hadn't seen her since the beginning of the summer, since she had her own group of friends. But she occasionally hung out with her brother and the knuckle heads he liked to call friends.

"Verno! I heard about your adventure, and I had to come tell you guys how brave you were and say thanks because you saved my brother's ass. Mainly to show you my sketches though." Y/N revealed as she sat down on the floor of the treehouse.

As soon as she came in Teddy sat up and stared at her. He absolutely loved the way she talked, dressed, and moved. But he was too chicken to say anything about it. He was sure either she knew, and didn't like him or her brother knew and didn't approve.

"Vern, I think that you were the glue to the group. You helped everyone in your own way." Y/N remarked as she gave him a sketch of him holding up the comb that she drew when Gordie told her that he had lost it.

"Chris, I want to thank you for being my brother's best friend, and I think you are going to turn out just fine." Y/N then gave him a sketch of him hugging Gordie.

"Teddy, I think that you shouldn't let your Dad define you, but you didn't when you forgave Chris for saving your life." Y/N handed him a sketch of him walking back to his house after the adventure ended.

"And finally Gordo, I'm glad you came home." And she handed him a sketch of them, her arm over his shoulder laughing about something he said.

"Wait, I don't get some heartfelt speech?" Gordie tried to joke through the pain he felt in his heart.

"No Gordie, I gave you one yesterday." Y/N laughed while the boys looked at their drawings.

"Thanks Y/N." Chris said. He had taken what she said to heart and didn't want to let her down. Her and Gordie were like siblings to him.

"Yeah, thanks Y/N, sincerely." Vern remarked.

Teddy, who had been quiet the whole ordeal, unlike himself, launched himself at Y/N and have her a hug.

"Thank you." He whispered in her ear. "Thank you."

"You're welcome."
