Sunspots felt the world shift and lurch, bright white sparks like tiny fireworks dazzling around his field of vision as the world began to appear. It was a rich, green world, filled with bright shining eyes of cats watching him or turning away to resume their happy residence. Suddenly Sunspots was thrown into that world. Starclan. He wandered around and glanced at all the cats he recognized.
"Hello, Wavestar." He greeted an old Sandclan leader. The second one ever, to be precise. He dipped his head and muttered a hello.
She dipped her head back, "Welcome, Sunspots- again. A council is waiting for you. Go to the meeting area."
He studied her well-groomed and sleek blue-ish grey fur, and her bright azure eyes. Her fur seemed to ripple- her name was well chosen. She had a piece of prey by her paws, which made Sunspots speculate.
"Why aren't you there?" Sunspots tilted his head. Usually all leaders went to these meetings with medicine cats or leaders. From a specific clan, that is.
"I'm finishing up. You go ahead, go."
Councils were held sometimes to speak of things, important happenings, and sometimes to speak with cats of the clan they belonged to, only leader and medicine cats allowed.
Sunspots dipped his head, said his goodbyes, and trotted through the sunlit fields.
"Hello, Sunspots!" A kit bounded over, her black sleek pelt shining with a white stripe as the brightened sky reflected off of it.
"Hi Beetlekit! Don't be getting into any trouble." Sunspots purred at the little Sandclan kit.
"I won't! We were just going to play at the Darkforest border!" The little she-cat flicked her tail towards other kits standing by.
"You better not." Sunspots scolded the small kit. "Ah, but I need to go. Stay safe!" and he bounded off, long legs working to push him faster towards his destination. There it was- large ferns draping over a sandy clearing in which a brook ran through, gurgling softly and splashing spittle onto the sand.
"I'm here. I'm here." Sunspots breathed.
"Welcome." A sandy brown tom greeted the medicine cat, his dusty orange eyes scanning him with both amusement and seriousness trapped in his gaze.
Sunspots dipped his head. "Hello, Sandstar. Look- Venomclan's been acting up again. And it's worse than before. Like... maybe Eclipsestar level bad, or-or worse. This really affects all the Clans."
"Except Oakclan!" A cat stood and growled. His pelt was bristling and he looked to the other Sandclanners for concurrence. "Traitors!"
Sandstar calmed him down with a swish of his thick tail, "We know. Oakstar is troubled by the news. Do not think he has any consent in any of this."
The interrupter then sat back down, shredded ears flicking. Cats surrounding him nodded and muttered things into their chests.
Sunspots shrugged. "Well what can my clan do?" His tail lashed back and forth, awaiting the answer. Sandstar the Wise, he was known as. He was known for having an answer to everything. Sunspots swayed back and forth on his paws, apprehensive and excited and extremely distraught at the fact that Sandstar was hesitating so!
Sandstar wrapped his thick tail around his small tan paws. "It is unknown. For now, nothing."
"Nothing!?" Sunspots nearly choked on those words.
"It's true, how can we do nothing? Shouldn't we unite and attack?" The cat besides the one whom earlier interrupted snarled, her white ears turning back against her head. Her claws were out and working the grass.
