The Circus of Nightmares: Chapter 2

Jessica was in her living room sitting on the couch as she had been watching her most favorite television show and serious, Teen Wolf, while eating from a bowl of freshly cut yellow and green sweet bell peppers with a side of ranch in a little bowl. She was watching it as she was deep into it looking at the TV as she reached for another slice of peppers until she noticed that she was out and looked at it sighing, "Well, now its time to get up." She said as she paused her show and stood up, grabbing the bowls and walking into the kitchen.

She set the two bowls in the kitchen sink and walked to the fridge as she opened the door and looked in it seeing what she could eat and what she even had, but sighed and groaned, "Note to self, go grocery shopping tomorrow after seeing Jackson."

She then shut the fridge and walked over to a cabinet and opened it grabbing a glass and closed the door again. She walked to the sink and filled it with water after sticking it under the faucet and made sure to fill it up to about an inch away from the top of the glass so it didn't easily spill or over flow.

As she returned to the living room, she looked up after taking a drink of her water and stopped walking noticing the tv had that static on the screen and she groaned again as she walked to the coffee table and set her drink down, "You kidding me?" She took the remote in hand and pointed it towards the tv and hit the channel button trying to change it to a different channel thinking she must have changed it on accident as she got up, but it didn't do anything.

Jessica was getting a bit nervous, only because she didn't want to have t go and pay for a new tv after work tomorrow. She stood up and walked to tv after setting the remote down where she had been sitting at on the couch and looked at the back making sure all wires and cords were alright.

She saw they all were in tact so maybe it was just somewhere on the inside that was all messed up and screwy. She sighs and looks at the time on her phone after walking back over to the coffee as she picked up her drink and phone seeing it had been 1:48 am and she sighed, "Well, gotta go bed and get some sleep before work." She said to herself before walking upstairs to her room after turning the tv off manually.

4 HOURS LATER

As Jessica woke up the next morning for work, she had been changing into her required uniform as she was in her room. Once she had her uniform on, she looked around for a hair tie, but instead saw the circus ticket and she looked at it for a second before walking over and picking it up looking at it.

She slipped on a pair of comfortable sneakers, grabbed her camera, and went downstairs walking into the kitchen and walked over to the coffee pot making herself some coffee to wake herself up. She looks at the ticket thinking as she looks at it and she flips it around to the back and sees the text on the back, but before she could get to reading, the coffee pot went off and she sighs sticking the ticket in her back pocket and turned towards the coffee pot.

She grabbed a coffee mug from the cabinet above the coffee pot and took the lid off before sticking it under the pot and pushed a button that filled it up by the size she chose which was the large. She took the creamer and poured enough in it to the point where she could taste both the creamer flavor and coffee.

Jessica grabbed her coffee mug and took a sip of it as she walked over to the couch and grabbed her jacket putting it on before grabbing her car keys off her coffee table and heading to the door walking out and locking it after she closed it.

She walked to her car and opened the door to the drivers seat getting in and set her coffee in one of the cup holders in the middle and soon enough took her car key and stuck it in the slot, twisting it, and then starting the car, making sure nothing or no one was behind her and she backed out of the driveway and headed of to work.
