Evie pov

I was currently searching for Y/N, but there wasn't a sign of her anywhere. I had been searching for almost an hour, so I decided to give up. She doesn't even answer her phone! As I walked to my dorm and opened the door, I was greeted by Mal and Y/N. "Hi Evie!" Y/N said smiling. "Y/N!" I've been looking for you. Have you been here this whole time?" I asked. "Well I came here about forty minutes ago to hang with Mal" she casually answered. I face palmed. 

"So why have you been looking for me anyways?" Y/N asked. "I finished your ball dress!" I exclaimed happily. I walked to my dress closet( yes I have a closet just for dresses ) and took out a long, beautiful, Y/F/C coloured dress. "OMG Evie it's perfect! Thank you so much!" Y/N hugged me with the brightest smile.

"So who are you going to the ball with?" Mal asked her. "Harry?" I asked hopefully. "I wish" Y/N sighed. "Of course he has a date already, he could get any girl he wanted". I patted Y/N's shoulder. "Don't worry, it's still a week until the ball. You're gonna find a date" I reassured her. "I hope you're right.

Harry pov

"Dude come on you got to pick someone"Jay said as we were walking to our dorms. "Yeah, even Gil has a date to the ball already, and come on, he's Gil! No offense Gil" Carlos turned to Gil. "None taken" Gil smiled. "Almost every girl has asked you to the ball, can't you choose one of them?" Jay asked. "I don't want to go with any of them" I casually said. "Why not?" Carlos asked me.

"Because he likes Y/N" Gil blurted out. I felt the blood rush to my cheeks as I glared at Gil. "I told you to not tell anyone!"I smacked his head. "Sorry, forgot about that" Gil just kept smiling. "So you like Y/N eh?" Jay smirked. "Then why haven't you asked her already?". "Yeah Harry. I thought you were one of the biggest flirts on the whole planet" Carlos added.

"But this is different! I know that I'm constantly flirting with everyone, but I've never felt like this towards anyone before. I really care about her. There's simply nothing you can't love about her! Her smile, her laugh, her attitude, her eyes. She is just so..". Enough of the lovey dovey talk!" Jay cut in. "We get it, you like her. "But I can't ask her to be my date, she probably already has someone". "Fine. Don't ask her" Jay said. Even though I didn't have the courage to ask her to the ball, she was the only thing on my mind the whole day.

---Time skip to the ball---

I decided to go to the ball with Audrey, which was a huge mistake, because now she thinks I like her. She keeps talking about some boring princess stuff, which I don't really mind because I was thinking about Y/N. As Audrey and I got to the ball we walked through some big wooden doors into a large ballroom. There was a pair of stairs which led down to the main area. As we got to the stairs, a guard asked our names and introduced us to the others at the ball. "Sir Harry Hook and Miss Audrey" he said loudly as we walked down the stairs. Audrey was really excited while I just wanted to see Y/N.

"Harry, could you get us something to drink?" Audrey asked. "Sure thing" I answered annoyed. As I was getting the drinks I heard the guard telling the next guests. "Sir Chad Charming and Miss Y/N Y/L/N" the guard spoke. When her name was mentioned I instantly turned around. When my eyes landed on her it felt like my heart stopped. She looked stunning. My heart started beating so fast I thought my heart would burst out of my chest. She was absolutely beautiful. "Dude stop drooling" Jay elbowed me in the arm while he smirked at me. "Just go talk to her, I'm not going to watch you just stare at her for the rest of the night" he added and walked away. He was right. I had to speak with her.

Y/N pov

While Chad and I were walking down the stairs, all I did was look for Harry. I had agreed to go with Chad just so I could see Harry. Sadly I couldn't see him yet. "I'll go get us something to drink" Chad said and walked away. I looked around little while waiting for Chad to come back. Then I spotted Harry in the crowd. My heart started beating faster. He saw me too and started walking towards me. My heartbeat became more rapid.

"Hey Y/N" Harry smiled. "Hey Harry" I said with a big smile. "Since Chad is over there chatting with some friends, would you like to dance with me?" he asked hopefully. "Y-yes" I stuttered my cheeks heating up. He smiled and grabbed my hand and led me to the dance floor. We started dancing and he twirled me around. I was having the time of my life, swirling and twirling with Harry. That moment didn't last very long when Audrey stomped up to us.

"Why are you dancing with her? I'm your date!" she yelled. "I wanted to dance with Y/N, what's the big deal?" Harry asked. "You should dance with me! Only me! And you!" Audrey turned to me while poking harshly at my chest. "Who are you even? Your parents aren't even famous or anything. You're just a little piece of...". "Hey! Watch your mouth Audrey" Harry stepped between us. " Who cares if her parents aren't as famous as yours. She is an amazing girl and anyone would be lucky to know her. She's like a sunshine who lights up a whole room when she walks in. And I really can't stand idiots like you treating her like junk!" Harry finished. Audrey went silent and walked away angrily.

"Wow Harry! That was really nicely said. Thank you for defending me" I smiled at him. He grabbed my hands and looked into my eyes. "Y/N, there's something I want to tell you. I think I lo...." he was cut off by me kissing him. At first he froze, but soon started to kiss back. "OMG I knew it!" Evie squealed. Other students were cheering. Soon we had to break the kiss due to lack of air. "I love you too" I said. We both smiled at each other. Jay walked over to us and patted Harry's shoulder. "Great work man" he said. "I told you she liked you" he smirked. Harry just chuckled and pulled me in for another kiss.
