(2 years earlier) 2003-Beverly hill California Hospital... "Ok we're there any signs before you came here?" "Oh course there was Dr. Wayne." "We were at our wedding and he just constantly kept calling me his sister and I kept telling him that I'm not his sister, I'm his wife and he kept saying Selina." Said Sarah explaining. "Ok, Selina is his sisters name right." Dr Wayne asked. "Correct." "Ok what were some things he was saying if he thought you were his sister." "He was saying things like Oh my gosh it's official, I'm married—can you believe it and I said honey we're both married and I kind of giggled." "Then he said, Selina stop being weird." "And I just looked at him so confused and then he said Selina Selina are good, you called me honey." "I didn't know what the hell to think in that moment, was he serious, was he joking?" "And then he said Sarah, are you ok you look a little lost." "And so I just played it off like nothing because that's what it felt like he did—Dr. Wayne he didn't even remember he called me his sister." "And today it happened again, but he was calling me his mom this time, he was so scared of me, his mom is crazy, but claims that she loves him." Sarah said. "Well, Mr. Lewis you don't recall any of this happening?" Asked Dr. Wayne. "No, I dont, not one bit of it." Said Terry looking confused and scratching his head. "Ok and Mrs. Lewis how did he come back from this again?" Dr. Wayne asked. "Oh he just turned back to his self almost like he can out of a trance...he started calling me Sarah again." She explained. "Ok, I think I know what this could be a symptom of from the story, but we need to run a cat scan, if you could follow me right this way." Dr. Wayne assured."
[Back] 2005-Beverly hill California... Terry and Sarah's Condo... "Mom, are you crazy—why would you be my wife." Terry backing away. Terry Yelled to the top of his lunges "Terry what is that." "Terry puts a gun up and begins to wave it around." "LOOK, Terry put the gun down, it's not a toy!" Sarah said. 2003-Beverly hill California hospital... "Ok the test results from your scan is back Mr. Terry and Mrs. Sarah." "Ok." said Sarah holding Terry's hand." "I'm afraid that I was right about what I thought you had." Said Dr. Wayne. "Ok, what the hell is wrong with me?" asked Terry. "Well, Mr. Terry...you have Alzheimer's disease." Said Dr. Wayne. "How can that be possible if I'm only 28 years old?" Asked Terry. "Well, it's still a possibility for anybody to get Alzheimer's, but it is rare for a young person, so that's why we ran our test two more times for any possible errors and they all came back the same." "Oh my gosh." Sarah looked at Terry and only squeezed his hand tighter. "My husband!" "I'm sorry to we are positive that you have Alzheimer's Mr. Terry, but we are going prescribe to you cholinesterase inhibitors , they are usually prescribed for mild to moderate Alzheimer's disease. " "Ok will this for sure help him?" Sarah asked. "Well it's only a possibility that they may help reduce some symptoms and help control some behavioral symptoms." Dr. Wayne answered."
