Your POV:
Nagisa, age 6
(Y/n), age 5

I was skipping around the neighborhood smiling. I was new and didn't know where to explore first! My mom told me to meet new friends.

Yes, she trusted a 5 year old around the neighborhood by herself, parent of the year award. Anyways she said my older brother would be out in a bit to walk with me.

I saw a park across the street, I was only a few houses away from my house. Hmm my brother can meet me there! I begin to walk across the street.

A loud horn blared next to me. My eyes widen as I see the giant truck blazing towards me. My body froze and my feet stayed planted.

I closed my eyes as tears rolled down, I waited for impact but... nothing happened... I'm greeted by warmth?

Nagisa's POV:
My mom pushed me outside. We got new neighbors today. A boy my age and a girl a year younger then me. I was a bit excited.

As I'm looking around for the house I notice a girl in the middle of the street as a giant truck speed towards her.

She was frozen in fear as tears rolled down her cheeks. I panicked. I ran out and grabbed her pulling her into my chest just in time as the truck went by.

I heard her softly sob into my chest. She was kinda short, like even shorter than me! (Sorry if you're not short)

A boy with red hair and mercury eyes runs out of the new house confused. Was this his sister? He ran towards his hearing her cries.

"W-what happened?" He asked taking her from me and hugging her tightly.

"She almost got hit." I say.

"Thank you... I'm Karma, this is (Y/n)." He says.

"I'm Nagisa."

-back to present, still Nagisa-

I sat there in Sensei's class, remembering the very first time I met (Y/n). I promised to protect her from that day foreword.

"Nagisa! What is with you today?" Sensei yells slamming a hand on his desk making me jump.

"S-sorry sir!" I said, embarrassed.

I've been getting low grades and not paying attention... this isn't going to end well... is it? I heard Karma and (Y/n) are in the E class... maybe that's good thing.

"Nagisa! That's it! You're grades are dropping yet you refuse to pay attention! I wouldn't be surprised if you get sent to the E class after today!"

The students snicker as I bow my head," Headmaster, now!" I gather my things and get up, going to the Headmaster's office.

-Time Skip to E Class-

I stare at the class and enter. Normally looking people, teacher, desks. Nothing interesting except.... (Y/n)... she was surrounded by guys... the only seat open was next to a girl with green hair.

I sit by her," hi..." I shyly say," I'm Nagisa." I say.

"I'm Kayano." She smiles

I look over at (Y/n), she sees me and she stops talking with the guy and runs over to me and hugs me making me laugh at the guys with upset faces looking at me.

Your POV:
I look at Kayano and stick out my tongue. She glares at me with a red face. I pull away from the hug the hug Nagisa not too harsh but not gently either.

"Why are you in the E class?" I pout staring at him as he put his hands on his head.

"My grades dropped and I couldn't pay attention." He says.

I pout and hug him again," if you needed help, I live by you so you could've asked."

-time skip to after Koro-Sensei arrives-

I sat in my desk. I saw Kayano and Nagisa talking. They both giggled and Kayano blushed. I felt a pain in the pit of my stomach....

I lay my head down on my desk and put my arms around my stomach. Isogai looked at me with worry. I didn't like Kayano anymore.

He gently rubbed my back," are you alright." He asked. "Yeah, I'm fine." I look up at him, smiling.

Nagisa's POV:
I look over at (Y/n) and Isogai. He's rubbing her back as she laid down on her desk. I could see her clutching her stomach.

Maybe I'll talk to her on our way home! We both still live in the same houses, so we should be good. I think while smiling.

She smiled up at Isogai.... smiled.... what did he say that could make her smile so big? I wanna know. But just as I get up to walk over there I see him put his lips to her forehead. He then picks her up bridal style and walks away with her blushing.

I bite my lip, why... I want to be the one to be there for her... I don't want it to be him. But heh... I don't have a chance

-Time Skip-

Today is the day... I'm going to confess to her... I don't care if she's with Isogai! I like her and she deserves to know.

I saw her standing by a tree in the front, looking like she was waiting for someone.

I hope it's not Iso- actually, I'm gonna push that thought out of my head... today is my day.

I walk towards her," (Y/n)?" I ask and stare into her eyes with a dark blush.

She looks back with tinted cheeks," Y-yeah?"

"I have something very important that you need to know." I say and grab her hands.

"What's wrong?" She asks cupping my face gently.

"I-I like you... a lot! Probably even more that like! And-and I know you probably um don't feel the same and I-I understand, bu-" she cut me off by pressing her lips against mine.

I was so shocked that my eyes widened and I didn't kiss back. She pulls away and smiles up at me.

"You know, I've been so jealous of Kayano! I... I thought you loved her." She says.

"Not at all! I was honestly jealous of Isogai cause you were spending so much time with him." I say, chuckling.

She giggles," No, but I do know one thing." I look at her.

"Jealous is a b*tch."
