Your POV:
Ever since I was little, I was always told I was 'special'. I didn't really understand what it meant. I mean, every parents tell their child they're special... it doesn't always mean it's a good thing though.

As I grew up I began to realize what they meant. I could see spirits. But even worse, I could interact with them, touch them, feel them, and even get possessed by them.

I lived most of my life in fear. I was undoubtedly scared. I was but a child who would see people who have passed on from their bodies... but not from this world...

"That child is a demon!"

"I don't want to live in a neighborhood where a child who sees demons lives!"

"My mommy says I'm not allowed to talk to witches."

Every comment against me hurt like a burning wound. 'Witch' 'Demon' 'Devil Spawn'. My parents never abandoned me regardless. I couldn't believe it honestly.

We ended up having to move. I still saw the spirits, more frequently here honestly. I learned to live with it.

I didn't tell anyone here I could see spirits, I was forbad from it. But so much changed when I met him... he was different...

He'd constantly snooze in class and didn't talk much. I assumed he was just another one of those high school boys who would spend his nights playing video games until three am.

As I walked to my cubby after school, the hallways where quiet and bare. It confused me a little bit I shrugged it off. I saw, only what I could assume to be was, a spirit step out into the hallway.

He had shaggy shoulder length brown hair that hadn't been washed in a while, tinted sunglasses so you couldn't see his eyes, stubble around his whole face, a smirk that shook me to my very core, an orange vest, a plain blue T-shirt covered in stains, ripped blue jeans that reached past his ankles, and blue and orange sneakers.

But what stood out most of all was the blood soaked into his shoes and shirt. I took a step back and stumbled a bit. He had a smirk on.

"Hey you!" He called out,"I know you can see me otherwise you wouldn't have stepped back!" He smirked.

I was pretty much frozen with fear. I couldn't sputter out any words. I had the option to run but my legs gave out on me. I slid onto my knees and stares in terror.

He started walking towards me, his shoes making no sound as he walked. He crouched in front of me.

"First time seeing a ghost? How pathetic. Haven't you ever read books? Ghosts can't hurt you, see I go right thr-" he stopped mid-sentence.

He had tried to show me he couldn't touch me by putting his hand on my shoulder but his hand didn't go through my body, it's stayed rested there.

He was pretty shocked... his shocked face turned into an evil one,"You're pretty special huh~? How about you become my new play toy~?" His grip on my shoulder grew tighter.

I squeaked softly as I ripped my shoulder away from him. I ran down the hallway. I was planning on running but... where would I even run to?

It's a ghost, he can go through walls and follow me everywhere and nobody can stop him cause no one can feel, touch or see him.

My shoes made loud tapping noises that echoed in the halls as I ran down. I ran past empty classrooms, I prayed for help but it was all pointless.

Even if someone was there I'm dead regardless. Suddenly I came to a dead end. I whipped my head around and looked behind me. I didn't see anyone which gave me a breath of relief.

But when I looked to the side... there he was. I screamed a bit but he instantly picked me up by my neck and held me so my feet were mere inches off the ground. I kicked my feet around trying to get him off.

He just squeezed tighter around my neck making me try to scream, only to let out a gasp. Tears welled in my eyes as I struggled. Black dots clouded my vision making everything slowly fade away.

But before everything went completely dark I gained air. I choked and gasped, I couldn't get enough air it seemed.

I looked up only to see Yoshimori who seemed to be in almost a frustrated state looking at the spirit... Wait- WHAT?!

I held my neck, it still felt as if his fingers were there. I sat on my knees, almost unable to stand.

Yoshimori had two fingers close to his face. My hearing was still a bit off so I couldn't hear the conversation they had.

I saw Yoshimori rapidly bring his fingers up and a clear-ish box formed around the spirit. Suddenly it exploded making me flinch away.

He picked me up bridal style and started walking to an empty classroom. He set me down on top of the desk and examined my neck.

"You might have a bit of bruising... now tell me... what the h*ll was that?"

"How could the spirit touch you? Are you alright? Look into my eyes I need to see if any blood vessels popped. Is your neck okay?" He sounded concerned.

"Ever since I was little, I've always seen and played with spirits, people called me a devil spawn and a witch because of that... I don't know why I was just born with it... oh! Please don't tell my mom and dad I told you this! They'll be very upset!" I grabbed ahold of both his hands,"B-But uhm regardless, thank you for saving me."

He had a small blush,"A-Ah it's not problem, it's my job, but how about we make a deal, I won't tell if you won't tell about my secret" he held up his pinky.

I wrapped mine around his and agreed. He nodded with a toothy grin. I giggled softly,"You don't gotta worry about those bad spirits anymore, cause I'll always protect you."

I blushed a bit,"I will have to take you to the old man though, I've never heard about someone seeing and being able to touch them." He grabbed my hand.

"If you don't mind that is."

"That's uhm, that's fine." I nodded.

He smiled a bit and ran off, still holding my hand. Life definitely got more interesting with this boy here... it's not gonna be the same that's for sure.

I know I know I'm an awful procrastinator hit me for it later I did this in resource, I could've spent more time on it to make it better and it almost feels unfinished, I'll probably add a part 2 later, peace out.
