{pt 1} cheerleader

•Alicia's POV•

Im in my rose gold queen sized bed. I'm not awake yet but I'm not asleep I'm in that sort of middle stage when all of a sudden I hear this god awful beeping noise... what the fuck is that beeping noise.

I flicker my eyes open and adjusted to the lighting in my room, I turn to my side to see my alarm clock. I slammed the button to make the noise stop and climb out of bed.

Today I have cheerleading practice before school so I have to get up an hour early. Fun right ? I get in the shower then do my hair and makeup.

I go downstairs to see my brother mike munching on a burrito or something like that... ew.

"You do know how many carbs and calories are in those right ?" I say in one of my more judgemental tones, but he's my brother so I can talk to him in whichever way I like.

"Good morning to you to and -" he took another bite of his disgusting breakfast before finishing his sentence "I'm a guy so I don't care about that shit anyway." He shrugged and carried on eating.

"Suit yourself." I shrugged back as I ate my more nutritious breakfast, avocado on toast. I lingered around mike waiting to ask him a question.

"What do you want now Alicia?" He can always tell when I want something from him.

"You see Mikey, you would be doing me a really big favour if you could give me a ride to cheerleading practice today and-"

"Fine but I want 20 dollars" he interrupted. We had a deal. I got in the car as he got in the drivers seat.

"So am I your slave now?" He says this like I haven't been asking him to do things for me for the whole 17 years I've known him.

"Yes but your not a very good one." I grin and put my sunglasses on. He just nodded, being used to my sassy comments and we drove to cheerleading practice.

I got out the car thanking him and  went straight to the field where we practice. I really do love being a cheerleader i can let my hair down and be myself, my mom was one of the best cheerleaders in school when she was my age, I guess I felt the need to carry on her legacy after she died. Plus i look super cute in the outfits.
