Okay, there's a reason for this one.

If you read some of my other stuff, you might know that I have several forms of synesthesia.  I'm not going to explain them all again here, because I'm lazy like that.  I will, however, explain the one that this has to do with.

Grapheme color synesthesia: letters, numbers, words, they all have a certain color.
It's interesting and it's a good conversation topic, but not particularly advantageous (or disadvantageous) in most situations.

Yeah... that's not true anymore.  I found a situation - actually, an entire class (I'm a freshman this year 😳) - in which grapheme color synesthesia is a definite disadvantage.

I'm taking Latin.  The words are the wrong colors.  I can't associate "et" with "and" because they'rE NoT tHe SaMe CoLoR!!!  It just doesn't make sense to me! 😭

*Sigh...*
