Little Red Riding Hood is a very well-known story. However, there are variations in the tellings. In the Brothers Grimm version, Red is eaten by the wolf along with her grandma. A bad ending. A much preferred ending is that the wolf is eventually killed and all the humans live happily. A 'happy' ending.
...Is this really the happy ending?
The wolf eventually died. Even if it had cruel intentions in the story, we cannot conclude that that is his true character. Is that really his characteristic? What if external pressure caused him to eat them?
