Hi this is Keith. Yes Keith I know. Well I have a story to tell you. A story that is all over the place, an emotional roller coaster you could say. It's about me and Lance.. yeah. I wish I could tell you some of the story from Lances point of view but.. you know what you'll see why later heh. Let's just get into it.

———

It started when I was 16
I had to move.
Sorta I guess, I had to move back to my home town after two years of traveling with my "family" (I'm adopted) anyway so I was moving back to my home town, but everything there has changed. It was like going to a whole new town. The only thing that was the same was my favourite coffee shop back when I first lived here.

———

"Uh mom, are you sure we're in the right place?" I asked my mom sarcastically, also genuinely worried we were in the wrong town. "Yes honey, I'm sure. A lot has changed since we used to live here." My mom was excited to be back here. "Oh! Honey did you know they built a reck centre when we were gone? It even has a pool!"  Really, excited to be here. "Greaaaaat" I mocked sarcastically.

I dislike the water. No it's not that I dislike like it, I just don't know how to swim. Whenever I try to I look like a dying noodle flailing its "arms" and "legs" around. "Oh Keith, if you don't like pools, remember that beach we liked going too when you were little? Well that's still here too." She's trying to convince me that if I just try swimming that I'll get the hang of it. Well I have "tried" and it did not turn out well. "Mom, I can't swim. Remember?" "I know but if you just try-" "sweetheart if he doesn't want to he doesn't have too" oh now my "dad" (adopted remember) finally speaks up.

"Fine you don't have to swim, but I won't leave you alone till you satisfy me." She looks up in an dramatic way. "And how would I do that?" I huff. "At least go to the beach. Even if you don't swim, go there. You might even make a friend." She smiled. She has this main motherly smile she always does when she gets her way.

"Doubt it" I mumble under my breath, As I look out the window. I look back at her and she gives me her 'puppy eyes'. "Ughhhhh fine fine, will you be satisfied if I do that?" I'm very annoyed at this point. "That's what I've been saying all along honey" she winks at me while smirking. She looks back to the front. She always gets her way, it's so unfair.

15 minutes later

We arrive at the house. I cant believe it.."It's the same one we used to live in." I didn't expect this. Like yeah this town is small, but it can't be that small. It should've been sold in 2 years...right?. "Keith we told you five times on the way here." My dad explained as he sighed. "Obviously someone wasn't listening." She giggled as she teased me. She's always so cheerful, how? "OH!" She yells. "W-what? What is it???" She worried me. "While your dad and I are unpacking you can use this time to go to the beach! Just like you promised 😘" aaaaand over dramatic. "Ugh fiiine." "Thaaanks honey!" I leave closing the door on the way out. If I remember correctly the beach is only 5 minutes away from the house. Sometimes I feel like she only wants me out so she can be alone with dad.

"Ugh." I realized I was walking in a random direction while I was thinking. Usually it wouldn't be a big deal if this were too happen two years ago, but everything here has changed. Plus my memory is a bit fuzzy. I hear a little boy and girl laugh until they look at me. "Ahhhhh!" The girl screamed as she looks at me. "A vampire!"
V-vampire? Am I really that pail?
"D-don't worry vv, ivell procet tu!" He steps un front of her. "B-be gon vampire! Gu bac o wher tu bewong!" He pulls out a wooden sword. I usually don't like kids. But I'm bored, lost and I really do not want to go to the beach right now. So I play along. "How are you going to stop me?" I ask devilishly as I bend down to his level, I look at him while grinning
