Chapter 10. Hard Love

Y/N's P.O.V

      Damian kept holding me as I heard footsteps near us, but I choose to ignore it. I held onto Damian tighter as if the world was gonna end. Suddenly a gust of wind hit me as Damian wasn't holding me anymore. 

   He was pulled back by Jaime. I looked at Jaime confused when I saw pain and betrayal in his brown orbs. Damian looked angry as he got out of Jaime's grip and faced him. He was about to say something till Star interrupted them,"Why? Why did you do that, Y/N?" My heart stared to ache as I looked at the Team's hurt facial expressions.

Betrayed.

     I slowly arose and stood up saying,"It wasn't m-" I was cut off by Gar,"You liar. You hurt us. How do we know if that's the evil side we are talking to?" I was gonna object, but I noticed Damian was clenching his fist staring angrily at Gar and everyone else. I looked down.

   My heart wouldn't stop aching as the tears wouldn't stop either. I took off my mask for them to see who I really am, and this is how I get treated? My mask covered my emotions. My pain. My past. They took me in, and this is what hate feels like? Huh.

   I looked up at Raven as hate was marked in those pure violet eyes. It all hurt. I looked over at Damian with teary eyes as I held onto myself, like I was alone. 

Forever

    Damian went towards me as the Team tried to convince him to stay back. I shook my head as I took a couple steps back. 

   Soon the sky wasn't bright blue, but a gloomy gray. The tears escaped my eyes. The world seemed to go slow as the tears became a crimson color when they hit the ground. I watched as the tears had fire erupting from them when they hit the ground. I looked up as the Team was taken back. 

    I slowly moved closer to them as they were all frightened. I moved towards Damian as I was now in front of him. He looked at me with gentle eyes as I looked into them deeper than before. His beautiful blue eyes were glossy as he looked at me. His eyes didn't give off fear, but love. He pulled me into his chest as if I was normal, not alone, but loved. His warmth gave me a smile. His eyes always amazed me. Him holding me, held me together as if nothing or no one could break me. I loved it. 

   I then kept staring into his hues as he gently whispered into my ear,"I want to suffer in sweet life, sickness, caught to your laugh, all just with you, Beloved." My face became flushed as I heard those words come out of his sweet lips. It became quiet as I didn't how to reply and as the Team awkwardly watched. 

   Damian did the signature Batglare as the Team walked away without a single word. I looked back into Damian's hues as he kept holding me. I then gently but lovingly said,"I want to be with you, Damian Wayne." He smirked and leaned down to my lips. Our lips touched as if we were meant to be. His soft lips danced against mine perfectly. I wrapped my arms around his neck to pull him closer as my hands ran through his soft hair. He smirked in the kiss as we both then pulled away blushing and panting. He smirked at me then winked as my face became a dark red. 

    "Beloved, your my weakness. You make me fall in love with you over and over again. I didn't realize I loved you, but now I know. So I love you, Y/N L/N." I smirked and pecked his lips as I walked saying,"I love you too, Dami." He shook his head while smirking. 

     The team watched the sweet scene played out as Damian got the girl.
