Chapter 5-hogwarts

Maddie's POV

I wake up by someone jumping on screaming,"get up, get up!" I say groggily,"who are you?" And the mysterious voice says,"only your best friend zan!" I jump out of bed and scream,"ZAN, I MISSED YOU!!!! Wait we have to get ready!!!" Zan says,"yeah let's go get ready!!!" So we got ready and we Went down to the great hall and ate breakfast. Then mcgonagall handed out our times tables,

I look at Zans paper and she has a few of the same classes as me. I look at Fred, George, and lees papers and they have all the same classes with me. Lee says,"so you wanna sit by me in arithmancy?" I roll my eyes and say,"of course anything for you." He gives me a big grin and hugs me. I laugh with everyone else. So the first bell rings and my and lee start walking down with Fred and George after I said bye to zan. We get to arithmancy right on time. Me, lee, Fred, and George all go to the back two tables. Then professor vector walks in. I stare at him avidly. He's wearing black robes and he has a very bald shiny head. It's quite scary actually. Lee nudges me and i wake up out of my trance I was in. I look around and I realize that vector was asking everyone their name and what house they're in. I then realize that it's gryffindor and ravenclaw. Oh great the "famous" Charles Shinto. The most widely known bully and player in the whole school. He gets done talking and he looks at me and gives me a cheeky grin. I give a smirk back. Then it gets to my turn to stand up and present myself. I stand up proudly and say Maddie gaunt, gryffindor. Whispers go through the classroom, I caught a few that said,"isn't that the dark lords daughter?" "How is she in gryffindor, she's a gaunt!" I sat back down, and then it was lee's turn to go, then so on. We finally got done with arithmancy and we had break next. So me and lee went to the common room with fred and George. We joked around and decided to do a prank on filch. We set up the supplies in his office to blow up and turn the whole room pink, including filch, at 6:00 tonight. Then we ran like madmen far away from his office. Then we collapsed on the common room couch and laughed our heads off. I was tired and we still had about half an hour left. So I layed my head on lees shoulder and told him to wake me up when it was time to go. He woke me up and said,"it's time to go to divination." I groan and say,"thets a bunch of jibberish!" He laughs and says,"yeaupp!" I laugh and go grab my stuff for my dormitory then me and lee walk all the way up to the divination tower. As soon as I climb up the

Ladder I smell heavy perfume and scents that will leave me smelling like complete crap. Me, lee, Fred, and George decided to sit together. Divination was altogether boring. And she decided that I had the "grim" a load of cow dung if you ask me. Ha cow dung. Now I'm laughing at myself hysterically. Fred, George, lee are looking at me like I'm crazy. George asks me,"what are you laughing at?" I say,"I was thinking to myself that this us stupid and I said that this is a bunch of cow dung." He says,"wow." Then they all start laughing hysterically at me. Professor trelawney asked us why were laughing and we were laughing to hard to answer her. Then she was like,"tell me why you're laughing." Then I said,"because I said that I think that this is a load of cow dung." Trelawney looked at me them she asked the boys if that's what they think this class is too and they all answered,"yes." She then said that she wouldn't allow for that in her class and she kicked us out. She then said when we get a different perspective of the class then we can come back. She then said that anyone who also thinks that them they should leave with us too. Nobody moved. We laughed even harder than we went down the ladder and laughed harder than ever when George fell off the ladder. We Proceeded down the winding staircases still laughing.It got really funny when I tripped and then fell onto lee the. We tumbled down the rest of the staircases. But then we had to go to the hospital wing because I guess we were hurt and bleeding and they were worried about me and lee. When we got to the hospital wing madam pomfrey looks at us and says,"what happened to you two?" We laugh and lee says,"we fell down the stairs." She then makes us sit on a bed and gives us potions and she waves her wand and were as good as new. I say,"thank you. Come on boys let's go up to the common room." Madam pomfrey mumbles,"your welcome." And stares at us in wonder. All though I'm not sure why. Maybe she's intrigued by my swagg. We make our way back up to the common room And fall on the couch laughing. We sit there and talk for the rest of the time. Then we have a spare period. I then said to the boys,"we have two breaks in a row then a spare then lunch every Monday. This is awesome!" Then a bunch of other third years walk in and I say,"what's up my homies." They laugh and then One that I haven't seen before looks at me and gasps then says,"you're you-know-who's daughter!" I say,"the very one." She then backs away then turns and runs out of the portrait hole. I then announce to the boys,"imma go see draco, pansy, blaise, and teddy." Fred looks at me and says,"don't you need to know where the slytherin common room is and the password?" I laugh and say,"since I was meant to be in slytherin i know where the common room is and the password. And don't even ask where it is." Fred says,"I don't wanna know where it is. I want to stay as far away from those slime balls as possible." I slap him and say,"those are my friends!" Fred smirks and says,"yeah i know." I glare at him and walk out. I start making my way down to the dungeons and make my way to the wall that conceals the slytherin common room I say,"pureblood." Then the wall slides back and I walk I tot the slytherin common room. I see many people i know In There and everyone looks at me with disgust and then they realize it's the dark lords daughter and then they smile at me. I smile back and say,"where's Draco?" Terence Higgs says,"up in his dormitory." I say,"thank you." Them make my way up to his dormitory. I walk and see Draco talking to Blaise and Teddy on Draco's bed. I step in farther and say,"hey." They turns and see who it is and when they see me they all run to me and yell,"MADDIE!!!!!!" I say,"jeez you haven't seen me for a whole day and you guys are freaking out like you haven't seen me for years." Draco answers,"we figured we would see each other everyday because your supposed to be in slytherin. So this is hard for us." I say," aww how cute but I think you guys will make it just fine without talking to me every night in the common room. But if you guys want I can sleep over in the slytherin common room sometimes." Blaise goes,"that would be awesome! How about this Saturday?" I say,"I dont think I have anything going on, as long as you guys think you can put up with me!" Theo says,"you can be hard to handle but we grew up with you! So I think we can handle you for one night!" I laugh and say,"it's so good to see you guys. How has your first day been so far?" Draco goes,"great so far we've had potions and history of magic and transfiguration. How was yours?" I reply with,"well it's been good. I had arithmancy, then i had a spare, after I had to go to divination but me, Fred, George, and lee got kicked out, so that's now another break, then a spare, and then Lunch." Blaise says,"get kicked out of you second class, huh? How did you get kicked out?" I say,"yeaupp, well I was thinking that this is stupid and a bunch of cow dung, I start laughing cuz I said cow dung, lee asked me what I was laughing about. So I say that I was laughing cuz I said this us a bunch of cow dung. Then lee, Fred, George, and me start laughing hysterically. Trelawney comes over and asks what we're laughing about. I say cuz I said this is a bunch of cow dung. She looks at all of us and asks if this is what we all thought about her class. We all nod our heads and she's like,"I don't allow for that in my class now you will get out until you change your perspective about this class. I laugh and said sounds good to me." Blaise, Theo, and Draco laugh at me. I say," yeah its hilarious." Then I realize that it's almost time for lunch. I say,"hey it's almost time for lunch, can I sit by you guys?" Teddy answers,"of course you can, I might not be able to handle you though." I laugh and say,"of course you won't." I then turn into my animangus. My animangus is a liger. Did I not tell you I'm an animangus? I'm sorry, well I am. So anyway I turn into my liger and pounce on Teddy. Of course I won't hurt him just being playful but I surprise him and he screams all the same. I change back into my human form and basically roll around on the floor and start laughing like crazy. Draco and Blaise are doing the same thing as me and Teddy's taking turns at glaring at all of us. That just makes it all the funnier. I say,"you guys, even as funny as it is we should really go up to the great hall. They might think we're up to something." Draco says,"ohh yeah sure with all four of us up here I'm real sure their going to to think something is going on." I reply with,"any things possible." Draco scoffs then turns on his heel and moves to walk out. I say,"oh no! Draco I want a piggyback ride!!!" He looks at me and says,"okay if you're really so helpless!" I reply,"I really am." Draco then turns around and hold his arms out backwards. I start running and jump onto his back. He stumbles a bit them he starts walking down the stairs. I look behind me and what do I see? I see Blaise giving Teddy a piggyback ride. I laugh and tell Draco to turn around, he turns around and he starts laughing at them. Were both laughing so hard it hurts. We make it down to the common room and out the door, as we're walking through the common room heads turn to look at our little group of people. By the time we got to the door everyone has tears in their eyes cuz they're laughing so hard. I have Draco walk me up all the way to the dungeons to the great hall. On he way there me, Teddy, Blaise, and Draco are all talking about random stuff. I say,"I'm still eating with you guys right?" Draco answers,"of course you are." Then we keep talking about random crap till we get to the great hall. We walk in and all the heads turn. Because One, Teddy's on Blaise's back, two, a slytherin and gryffindor are getting along and laughing? I look over at the gryffindor table and see Fred and George glaring at Draco. At the same time I see Harry and Ron glaring at me and Draco. I sigh and say,"why can't they get it through their heads that I'm gonna be friends with all you guys." Draco answers,"i dont know, love, i dont know." I look at him and say,"did you just call me love?" Draco laughs and says,"Dont you like being called that?" "Not really. Why?" Draco responded,"well now I'll have to call you that all the time so you do like it!" I shook my head at him. Then we make it to the slytherin table. Me and Draco have learned this thing where Draco says 1, 2, 3, and he pushes me up and I spring off of him then do a backflip and

Land. So Draco says,"1, 2, 3."and I spring off of him and do a backflip and land. Everybody stares at what just happened and they all start applauding. I look around and hide behind Draco. I mean yeah I'm outgoing and all but I don't like it when all the attention is on me. So the applauding stops then all four of us sit down. Then food appears and we all start eating. Soon dinner is over and it's time for me to leave them. I stand up and hug all three of them and say,"goodnight." They all answer at the same time,"goodnight, love." I roll my eyes and start Making the trek up to the gryffindor tower. I get up to the portrait hole and say,"balderdash." The fat lady opens and as soon as I walk in I'm confronted with Fred and George yelling at me. Fred yells,"why were you with the slytherins? I thought you knew better. I mean really hanging out with them in their common room and everything. Getting piggybacks rides on malfoy." Then George takes over and keeps yelling,"I'm ashamed of you! You aren't a true gryffindor you should've been put into slytherin with rest of that lot." Ouch, that part hurt. Thank god there wasn't anyone in the common room cuz I burst into tears. Fred says,"oh my god, I so sorry Maddie! I didn't want you to cry!" I look at him and say,"it wasn't you Fred, it was George."George says,"what did I do?" I say," y-y-you said t-that I wasn't a worthy g-g-g-gryffindor and that I-I-I should be in slytherin." A fresh wave of tears came. George says,"Maddie I pinky promise I didn't mean it I was just so upset that you would choose them over us." I say,"I didn't choose them! I love all of you guys and i dont know what I would do without any of you!" George comes and he hugs me and let's me cry it out while saying,"it's okay Hun, don't cry it'll be okay." I stop crying eventually and say,"Thanks guys."Fred says,"Anything for you sweetheart." I roll my eyes. Then Fred puts his arm around my shoulders and George puts his around my waist. We stayed like that and fell asleep.
