005 - D-Day Pledis Audition

Yeonhae's Pov
I woke up early the next day since I cried myself to sleep and it was the day of Pledis Entertainment's audition. Luckily my mother wasn't up yet so I have to sneak away now!

I got dress in my Navy Blue Nike sweater and black jeans. I went along with my sunglass and Red converse. I left for breakfast at the nearby 7-11 and ate Kimbap with jjajjamyeon. Afterwards, I left for Pledis.

On the way there, I messaged Jamie.

To: Chingu Jamie
Yah, today is the day. Are you ready? Where are you? I'm on my way to Pledis now. See you there nae chingu ah!

When I arrived at Pledis, there were many other auditionees already waiting to be called. Since having an audition at Pledis was a one time thing for me, I didn't want to miss it. Moments later, Jamie arrived and we all headed into Pledis Building.

No One's Pov
"Hyung, there is a lot of auditionees there! Exactly how many trainees are we going to get now?"

"Molla maknae ah. We'll just have to see. Where are the rest?"

"Some are still sleeping while some headed out."

"Eodi? They are not suppose to anyhow go out. And where is leader hyung? He is not doing his job!"

"Molla. Let's just go and practice!"

"Arraseo."

Yeonhae's Pov
"Number 125. Number 126." Called out a manager and he was calling for me and Jamie since our serial number is 125 and 126. We nervously went into the studio and witnessed 3 judges.

"Number 125 Jamie Lee and Number 126 Shin Yeonhae. Maja?" Ask the first judge and we nodded. "Arraseo, you may begin." We turn to each other and begin singing our song. We chose to sing and dance to BtoB's Insane.

A/N: My favourite song for BtoB.

After it was done, we bowed to the three judges and they signalled us to leave the studio. It was really nerve-wrecking but we manage to pull it through.

After all the auditionees have completed their auditions, we all went to take a 30 minutes break while the judges decides on those who pass.

~ 30 Minutes Later ~

"Pledis auditionees, please report to studio A2 for the results." Announced a judge.

All the auditionees then went inside and the judges were announcing an announcement. "Okay, today great job all of you. Even though we have exactly 100 of you auditioning, we can only say that 20 of you will go for round 2 audition." Said one of the judge and there were commotions.

"Here are the 20 people who manage to pass round one. Ju Song In, Baek Mi Min, Jin Seo Woo, Min So Jin...... Hong Nam Joo, Jeon Baek Woo, Shin Yang Han, Wang Ho and lastly, Shin Yeon Hae." Announced the judge and I was glad. But...

I went up to the judge and ask, "Excuse me but may I clarify something?" The judge smiled and at me and ask, "Sure, what is it you want to clarify?"

"I went got in round 2 but why not my friend Jamie Lee? We auditioned as a duo." I said. He patted my shoulder and said, "There is a reason as to why we can only accept one of you. Her vocals needs more training as you might have heard, her voice trailed off. And her breathing is short."

I turn to Jamie and hugged her and apologized, "Mianhae Jamie ah. I shouldn't have chose this song. Mianhae. We couldn't get in together."

"Gwaenchana Yeonhae ah. You just do your best here. I can audition elsewhere, geokjeonghajima (Don't worry)." Said Jamie and we smiled together. "Just get pass round 2!" She said and I nodded.

"Alright, the 20 auditionees, please report to studio C for a briefing on the next audition." Said a judge and I left Jamie.

"The next audition, which is round 2 will be held next week at the same timing as today. For this, is free dance. You get to do any dance of your own creativity with 3 songs we have chosen for you. It will be held here at Studio C. Don't be late and the serial number you used today will be use for next week. If you lost it, I'm sorry but you will be disqualified. Any questions?"

All the auditionees shook heads in unisons and we left the entertainment.
