006 - Pledis Audition, Round 2

Yeonhae's Pov
In a blink of an eye, 1 week passed so fast and it was already the 2nd round of the Pledis audition. I have thought of some dance moves base on whatever song they might play.

I got up early and after having breakfast, I left for Pledis Entertainment. On the way, I got a text message from Jamie. I feel really bad for her since she failed to get into second round. But one good thing about her is that she is a really positive person.

From: Chingu Jamie
Morning my chingu ah! Good luck for round 2 later! Mianhae, I can't be there for you today since I need to take care of my sick brother. I wish you all the best and did you bring your serial number? Good luck chingu ya, make me proud! And don't worry about me, I found out that YG Entertainment is having an audition soon. I'll be going for that. Don't worry about me chingu ya!

I was glad that I have such a positive friend like her! Anyways, I arrived at Pledis Entertainment and on the way to studio C, I got lost and I only left 30 minutes to the audition since I have already registered.

Just then, I bumped into someone who seems familiar. "Ah joesonghabnida (sorry, formal language), I didn't see you there." I bowed and apologized. "Ani gwaenchana geundae (no it's okay but) you look lost." He said.

"Ah... I am looking for studio C for my audition." I explained and he said, "Follow me then. I'm Ho- I'm Kwon Soonyoung." He said and his name sounds familiar though...

After a while, we arrived at Studio C and just in time as well, I was about to thank him but he already left. Maybe he has a schedule to do or something. "Number 118, number 122 and number 126." Called out the judge and three of us went in. We were apparently the last 3 audionees.

"Number 118 Shin Yang Han, number 122 Wang Ho and number 126 Shin Yeon Hae. Correct?" Checked the judge and we nodded. "Alright the first song we will be playing is Seventeen's Adore You. So the request is, do a freestyle dance for 1 minute." Requested the judge and we nodded.

~ 1 Minute Later ~

"Alright the next song is a group from SM Entertainment. Please dance to Exo's Ko Ko Bop for 1 minute."

~ 1 Minute Later ~

"Alright this is the last. Are you all ready?" Ask the judge. "NE!" we all said in unison. "Great. Now this song is again from Seventeen. It is their latest song Don't Wanna Cry. Please dance to this song for 2 minutes using suitable moves."

~ 2 Minutes Later ~

"Great job you all. Please go to studio A for some refreshments." Said the judge and we bowed and headed for studio A. I got myself jjajjamyeon and a carton of Seoul Milk. It was delicious and I texted Jamie.

To: Chingu Jamie
Annyeong Jamie ah! I have just completed round 2 of Pledis audition and now they are tabulating the results. Ommo I am so nervous!

From: Chingu Jamie
Geurae? I wish you luck.

"All auditionees please report to studio C for the results." Announced the judge 30 minutes later. All of us (the auditionees) rush to studio C. We sat in our serial number and I was he last.

"Good job for today everyone. Now we will announce who shall be the Pledis trainees. Are you all excited or nervous?" Ask the judge. There were exchange of different answers. As for me, I am nervous.

"We will say that only 5, 5 of you out of 20 have made it. The 5 auditionees showed great dance moves and singing tactics. I shall now have my colleague Jang Ho Soon to announce the 5 Pledis trainees." Said the judge and he handed a paper to Mr Jang.

"Thank for the hard work you all. Now the 5 soon-to-be trainees are, number 100 Park Yeong Ji. Number 101 Park Yeong Ho. Number 110 Song Mae Yoo. Number 122 Wang Ho and lastly, number 126 Shin Yeon Hae. Congratulations all." Announce Mr Jang.

Soon, cheers filled the studio and I was there crying. Tears of joy I'll say. All those hard work paid off and now I will be a Pledis trainee! I'm so glad!
