Amelia gripped and grasped at the bridges edge. Fighting a losing battle with her hair and the wind, relentlessly she swiped and swatted at it, to clear her view anew, and each time it was brought back with a vengeance.
"Caleb! ...Caleb! ...Caleb!" Amelia choke-whispered out, but not purposely. Her voice had been lost and in all the screaming that tore through it, all the screaming she never herself heard. Amelia was, encapsulated within this invisible vortex, this vortex of a deafening silence, all brought on by the never ending loop that played on in her incomprehensible mind.
You're gonna make it, kid...
Over and over again his lips moved within her mind. His frightened eyes torn forcefully, from his safe footing, to onto Amelia... His hands flinging about, flailing, grasping with a dire quickness, all to no avail...
Caleb disappearing into the black, far beyond waters, below.

Luke watched Amelia chase after Caleb, making sure both were far away from here and safe. He didn't chase after them for a few reasons, one; he knew Amelia would keep a watchful eye on Caleb, not allowing him to do anything stupid, such as drive in the state he was in. And two; he was waiting to speak to Roi and Paddy.
Paddy broke off with his daughter, begrudgingly holding the phone out to an expecting Luke. Luke rushed up to the phone, trying to pry it from an unrelenting Paddy. Once he succeeded Luke paused, holding his hand over the old phones receiver at his stomach. Paddy of course sneered, menacingly firm eyes held on Luke, most likely angry that Luke now made his daughter wait.
Luke guessing as much brought the phone to his ear and quickly blurted out, "Hey Roi, give me a minute, will ya?" And brought the phone back to its covered lower state. So quickly he moved, never getting to hear her protests, "Luke! Wait! Please, listen to me!"
Luke entered Paddy's personal space not caring of the consequences and bravely spoke up, "Paddy, look, that guy that was just in here-hell the red head too, they were the people Roi was telling you about-" Luke was adamant, going breathless as he tried to reel this all out in one fell swoop. But Paddy cut him suddenly off, "Oi, don't know, what yer goin' on 'bout'," Paddy stated matter of factually, Luke growling, knowing he was completely and utter fucking full of it. "Listen to me! I know you know! I know Roi told you! She said she was going to turn to you for help, because she thought you could. Now can you help or not?" Luke had gone right into Paddy's face, all the danger warnings his body alerted him to, were just tossed aside, ignored.
Eye to eye they stood, glaring, heavily breathing, only the phone between them, when Roisen came crashing through the pubs door.
"Luke!" Roisen yelled bent over, hands bracing her knees to catch her breath. Her father and Luke unmoved, unaffected by her urgent outburst.
"Goddammit Luke! Fucking listen to me! We have to go now! Something b-somethings happened!" Roisen threw her voice as best she could, hoping against hope that that would be enough to get between the two. Luckily it was. Luke's head whipped towards her direction, eyes almost as if made of paper, tearing his ever harsh gaze from Paddy's. Luke was stunned, confused as to what was going on. His gaze swept from her to the phone clutched tightly at his midsection, momentarily unable to distinguish how she was even here. Obviously Roisen had been on her cell phone, but still it took Luke an awful moment to catch up.
Luke broke off in a run towards her, forgetting all together he had the old phone still within his grip. The cord, pulled to the max, too taught, pausing Luke mid run but a moment before snapping in half, ripping entirely from the wall in a low clatter, as the more distance he gained away. He heard the cussing, the hollers from behind, but never paused, never stopped.
