Hanna's POV

I got off of work at 7:03. Well I exited the building at this time. I got on the elevator, slowly riding down the 7 stories at my job. I was anxious. Anxious to get off the elevator. Anxious to get in my car. Anxious to drive home. Anxious to see Caleb. The elevator finally 'dinged' and I quickly rushed out the door, not forgetting to say goodnight to the person who was at the front desk.

"Night, Hanna! And Happy Anniversary." They smiled nicely and I gave them a 'faint' smile back as I left the building. I rushed to my car as I searched for my keys. I rummaged through my purse, making sure not to knock anything out. Once I found my keys, I hopped into my car, turned it on, and was on the way home.

When I arrived home, I turned the car off, grabbing my purse before I got out the car. I then walked into the apartment that Caleb and I stayed in.

"Caleb?!" I called out while walking into the house.

"In here!" He called out. I quickly followed his voice.

"Hanna!" Caleb said as he jumped off the couch running towards. He embraced me a meaningful hug, before he pulled away and kissed my temple.

"Hi." I said while looking him in his chocolate brown eyes with his arms wrapped around my waist.

"How was your day?" He asked while smirking.

"Long and boring but your here now." I said while pecking his warm, soft lips. As we pulled away, a smiled formed on his face.

"Watcha' smiling for?"

"I've been waiting all they for this." He said, once again smirking.

"Waiting for what? A kiss?" I asked while laughing a bit.

"You'll see." He said shaking his head while walking away toward the kitchen.

I just stared at him as he walked away. Something was up, I just didn't know what it was. The house was set up normal, no decorations or anything. Yeah, I know, Caleb and I made a promise that we weren't going to do any surprises, blah blah blah, but it was Caleb we were talking about. I was actually quite disappointed.

Caleb went over to the kitchen. I rolled my eyes, now frustrated of how blunt Caleb was acting. I took my shoes off and began to walk toward the living room. I peered over to the couch. I looked on the floor and seen a 3 bags of popcorn and 2 bottles of water. Now that was most definitely not Caleb. He usually drank on the weekend. I tried to ignore that. I then hopped on the couch, waiting for Caleb to come and cuddle with me. He never did, instead his boss called him.

Caleb's POV
As I walked away from Hanna, I pulled my phone out a pretended I was getting a call from my boss, this was all apart of my master plan. I pretend to let it ring, but eventually I answered.

"Hello." I pretended to answer the phone. I let a few seconds pass by as if my boss were talking on the other end.

"Are you serious? I really wanted to spend this night with my girlfriend and-" I exaggerated as if I were being cut off.

I looked over at Hanna who was now looking at me extremely confused. I shrug my shoulders and turned away. My plan was working out exactly how I wanted it.

"I'm begging you!" I let a few seconds past before I continued. "Please" I said one last time.

Hanna was now walking over toward me. "Fine. Okay. We'll be there" I said then took my phone from my ear so I could "hang up." Hanna was now standing in front of me.

"Caleb, what is it?" Hanna asked. I could see that glisten of fear in her eyes.

"'My boss wants us at his house for dinner tonight. I'll loose my job if I don't show" I lied. She just sighed in frustration.

"Are you serious!"

"Hanna, calm down. It's fine." I said while snaking my arms around her waist. "At least we'll be together." I finished.

Hanna rolled her eyes and pulled away from me. I sighed as she walked toward the door, not forgetting to grab her purse. "Meet me in the car." Is all she managed to say before walking out the door.

I shortly followed her out the door. I knew Hanna was pissed, but soon that'll change. I quickly grabbed a coat, and exited the door.

I pulled out my keys and locked the door behind me. I then walked to my car, where Hanna was already waiting. I stepped into the car and looked at Hanna.

"What?" She asked looking at me, not forgetting to roll her eyes.

"Nothing"

"Okay, then stop staring at me. Godly" Hanna fastened her seatbelt and leaned her head against the window.

I laughed softly and started up the engine. Hanna attitude has truly never bothered me. Its like something you just become immune to.
-
About 10 minutes into the drive, Hanna noticed we didn't turn right into my boss's neighborhood.

She quickly lifted her head. "Umm, Caleb! You just missed your turn."

"Actually I didn't." I smiled while keeping my eyes straight ahead.

"Umm, you did. Siri even says so." Hanna said pointing toward her phone. She had the directions pulled up.

"Change of plans, Hanna. We're not going to his house." I said.

"Caleb where the hell are you taking me!?" Hanna yelled.

"Just sit back a relax. Trust me."

"Okay, I trust you" Hanna said whilst turning off her phone and relaxing her head back. There were no words said after that.
