Maddy and Lana walked through the tunnel, bows nocked and ready. Finally, they reached a circular room with waterfalls lining the wall. Each was a different bright color. They were fascinated by the shimmery waterfalls. Maddy looked at her reflection in a waterfall while Lana attacked her notebook with information. The yellow water made Maddy's soft brown eyes turn orange.
Suddenly, Maddy heard a noise that snapped her back to her senses. She spun around, drawing her bow, and saw the most horrible monster she'd ever laid eyes on.
The monster had three huge bodies, three heads, and six hands. It was Geryon, Medusa's grandson.
Maddy screamed, "Move!" to Lana, who stood mesmerized by a shiny silver waterfall. Maddy launched an arrow at Geryon, who dodged the arrow easily. Then, it charged at Lana, who braced herself and stood still and sidestepped at the last second. Thrown off guard, Geryon promptly received three arrows in each body.
The monster's body dissolved and fading into a strange mist and floated into the ground. A few seconds later, a large, beautiful tree shot up from the ground.
"A cherry tree, I think," Lana observed.
They cautiously left the waterfall room through a different door than the one they entered through.
