(Jezz) Hunter and I head outside the school and climb into AJs pickup truck. A dark blue Chevrolet. I normally ride my motorcycle but the roads are to wet. open the back door for hunter he blushes at me and hops in.
I find AJs keys and start up the truck. I turn on the radio to the song luke Byran play it again. And I and hunter sing along to it. Nearly screaming the words so the people in the vehicles next to us give us weird looks.
After a while, AJ jumps in. She turns down the radio."Are we ready to go?" She looks at me then Hunter. We both nod. And we go off on a random adventure to who the hell knows.
(Joe) AJ leaves and I decide to leave. So I gather my things. Maybe I should go out somewhere. I wish I had any of my friend's numbers. I hear a knock on the door. I turn to she Ranger. He had one hand on the door and the other on the wall. "Hey, since you probably don't have anything else to do. Everyone was wondering if you would like to come to the teacher meeting."
I give him a weird look. "Well it's pretty much we go out to eat at an old restaurant that all the kids in school hate and aren't allowed in. We are pretty much bullsh*t about stuff. " I shrug. "I guess ." Ranger rolls his eyes. "Okay." He says it like a girl. I gather my stuff and follow him out.
I throw my stuff in my old rusty Impala. And jump in and start her up. I pull out and Ranger was waiting in his 4 door Sudan. He smiles with his tongue out and gives a goofy look. And skids off out of the parking lot. I follow him closely behind. In the car, my phone vibrates. I pull it out of my pocket.
I click the on button. A message from Nina. I draw my pattern. And stare at the road till we get to an old shady restaurant. I hope he doesn't wanna kill me. I open her message. [Hey babe. Hows work? I was wondering if you could put more money into my account. I've been trying to work my card but it says that is out of money. And I know that you could ask your rich stepdad for some.] I ignore the message and get out and go inside.
I walk in to find it looks more like a bar. It had barstools around a counter with booze and food. I take a seat next to Ranger and a pretty young lady. "I didn't think it was gonna be a bar." Ranger smiles. "Well, you know that a lot of teachers drink their stress away." He says jokingly. The young lady next to me stares intently at a window mouthing something. "Is she okay?" Ranger shrugs and takes his drink and guzzles it down.
I turn back to her and tap her. She looks up at me surprised." are you okay?" Her bright blue eyes relax and her light brown hair straight and carefree. "Ya, I think so. I feel like I'm losing my mind since you and hunter came. I thought it was tough dealing with 4 others but now 6. Uh." I think she had too much to drink or maybe she is crazy. She must have seen my face.
"You don't know?" She says. I stare at her. She needs some help. I shake my head no. I learned from my grandma that if someone is crazy just never tell them that their crazy or that their wrong. "Well I'll have to get you, hunter, AJ, McClain, Jezz, and Erich together so Erich and I can explain what's all going on." She takes another sip of water.
"Okay. Well, I think I'm gonna go." I point at the door hoping she doesn't wanna talk to me. "Wait." I turn and raise my eyebrow. "Yes?" She stares deep into my eyes. I feel a numbing sensation. " meet in the basement at the school tomorrow." I nod. Oddly I feel drunk. But I didn't even have a glass of anything. Ranger turns and waves." see ya." I wave drunk back.
I stumble out of the bar restaurant thing. The moon was already out and the cold air was making me feel more awake. After sitting in my car for a few minutes I decide that I feel fit enough to drive.
(AJ) after is a fun night. I drop jezz off at her house then I follow hunters instructions to his house. We pull up to his house. One that's in the middle of town. He looks around and then looks back at me."Could you stay with me until Joe's home?" I don't wanna be rude. "Sure." I turn my key over and follow hunter out to the house.
