        Chapter-10
~The Unexpected ~

"You guys are crazy. I am not getting up," Swara shouted as the trio tried to wake her up at eight.

All three of them shared a quiet smile among themselves.

"We know you are getting up as you don't want to miss the chicken pizza, do you?" Sanskar said while pulling her blanket.

"F**k you! I don't. I am not crazy as you," Swara muttered half asleep.

"Ohh is it so? Well, then we have to eat it without you," Laksh said.

'We are going to eat," Ragini said as the trio turned to go.

"Is it from German Bakery?" She asked while sitting up on the bed and rubbing her eyes.

The trio began to laugh.

"You guys better stop laughing or I will cut your heads off," Swara said while her lips cured into a smile.

Swara looked at the box of BBQ pizza and pasta in red sauce and garlic bread with cheese wide-eyed. The food smelled delicious.

One has to be strong when life throws difficulties at you. But no one tells you what the hell you have to do to be strong. It's not easy, emotions and feelings do not die natural deaths. Life comes in boxes of various sizes, holding moments that are good and bad. The contents may vary in proportion but you can't choose to escape any one of them at your convenience. An individual decides if they want to make the most of each one of the contents. No matter what our opinion is, we have to accept things the way they are.

"Bhai! I want to talk with you. It's urgent," Laksh said while dragging Sanskar to their room.

"Haan Laksh, say," Sanskar said while drinking a glass of water.

"Bhai actually I.... Just don't know how to start but I....." Laksh stammered while speaking.

"Laksh say what is bothering you?" Sanskar's thought haunted him.

As Laksh was about to say something, Sanskar got a call.

"Lucky wait Papa is calling," Sanskar said while going out.

"Haan papa, how are you? Is everything okay?" Sanskar asked as he picked up the call.

"Haan beta I am fine. Everything is fine. How are you? And Laksh? How is he? Is he not troubling you?" Durga Prasad opened his boxes of questions.

"Papa wait, first let me recall your questions then I will answer. I am perfect. Laksh is also good. And your younger son always keeps troubling me and only I know how I tolerate him. He always keeps blabbering stupid stuff. And I poor boy....." Sanskar spoke in a childish manner.

"Stop, I know how innocent you are. Badmash! Laksh is your small brother and in my absence, you are his father. You have to understand him. It's your duty to take care of him and look after his happiness. Being an elder brother is not easy. You have to sacrifice your happiness for your younger brother. You have to become his best friend. Remember there are no better friends than brothers and no better brothers than friends. Always try to understand his Point of view. Having an elder brother is better than having a superhero. Sanskar, I am not saying that you should only think about his happiness but also think about your happiness but always remember that he is your younger brother. At this point in time, you are his mother, father, brother, friend, and everything. I hope you understood what I meant to say," Durga Prasad said.

"Haan papa! Don't worry! You just take care of yourself," Sanskar said before disconnecting the call.

"Laksh you were saying something nah? Continue," Sanskar spoke while keeping his phone on the table.

"Bhai, actually I like one girl. Her shining eyes and honey-sweet voice are like windows to her pure and clean soul. Her face, her simplicity, her voice, her slender fingers. I just can't stop thinking about her. I am possessed. I am hers. A whiff of her perfume, a tiny chirp from her sweet lips, and just one look from those almond-shaped eyes can make my day. I don't need anything else. I don't know whether my love is shallow or unfounded since I have never shared my feelings with her. But unrequited and untold love is the purest form of love. There is no pretense in it. Her dazzling chocolate brown eyes framed by long lashes that she flicks constantly can brighten anyone's world. Her cherry lips look like a frozen rose, dangerous yet beautiful and her, milky white skin can mesmerize anyone. She is the reason for my smile these days. She is the one who made me believe that even if things are hard in life, I don't have to worry as I have found who can make me believe that even if things are hard in life, I don't have to worry as I have found a partner who can help me to make through it. She brought out a part of me that I never knew existed. She made me turn into a better person," Laksh paused to take a breath.

Sanskar was awestruck and was looking at him with his wide eyes and jaw dropped.

"A guy like you so selfless in love? Pure and untainted! Not a speck of lust. It's not seen in these days! Is it?" Sanskar was amazed with his brother's words.

"Bhai my intentions are not to sleep with her. I really love her," spoke Laksh.

"Who is that lucky girl?" Sanskar winked.

"Ragini," Laksh spoke without realizing what he said.

"What seriously? Amazing, congrats! Ragini is a very nice girl. I am very happy for you," Sanskar said while hugging Laksh.

"No bhai. Not Ragini. I just don't know how her name came in my mouth," Laksh spoke in nervousness.

"Then?" Sanskar spoke a bit scared. He had got a little clue about what was coming in front.

"I love...." Laksh stammered.

"Speak it up damn it," Sanskar shouted. Laksh's silence was tearing him from inside.

"Swara! I love Swara!" Laksh said making Sanskar shocked.
