Chapter 2

When harry arrived home the poor hybrid was still clinging onto him and crying and shaking, clearly terrified. Harry walking into his living room and sat on the couch with the boy on his lap. "Hey love you're alright no need to be scared you're safe now" he cooed softly rubbing his back. The boy looked up at him with his ears still flat on his head, tail wrapped around his waist. "Can you speak love? What's your name?" He questioned.

"L-L-Louis...." He stuttered. 'What a lovely name' harry thought to himself. "That's a lovely name louis, I'm harry" he said, scratching behind the boys ears, which was still flat on his head in fear. Louis seemed to warm up to harry, and get a bit more comfortable. He softly purred and his ears perked up as harry scratched them, gently leaning into his touch. It was only then that harry realized how beautiful louis was. His soft brown hair, his cute little ears and long tail, his baby blue eyes, his angelic voice, everything about him was beautiful. He wanted to make him feel safe. And that's what he intended to do.

"What happened to you louis?" Harry asked him, still softly petting him. Louis tensed and teared up at the question. Harry instantly felt bad for asking so quickly. What was he thinking? He had only just met the boy and he's already asking questions louis was obviously sensitive to. "Hey now love its alright, no need to cry...your safe now I won't let anything happen to you anymore..." Harry soothed in a sweet calming voice, running his fingers through louis hair. "L-L-Louis o-owner a-ab-bandoned L-Louis in a c-cage a-and le-ft L-Louis alone a-and s-said L-Louis w-was s-stupid a-and unworthy o-of b-being a-around h-him any m-more....h-he s-said L-L-Louis s-should d-die....h-he h-hit L-Louis with a b-bat a-and w-whipped L-Louis......"

By the end Harry was furious. Nobody should ever treat a hybrid like that! Louis didn't deserve that and whoever this man was that abandoned and treated louis like that should be in jail or dead. Louis was shaking and sobbing and scared. He had his head in Harry's neck and his hands gripping Harry's shirt like he was gonna lose harry at any second.

Harry wrapped his arms tightly around the shaking boy and kissed his head. "Shh Love its alright...that man won't ever hurt you again...I won't let him I'll protect you... Calm down love I got you..." Louis calmed down alittle but he was still crying and shaking, but he was less tense. Harry was never gonna let anything happen to louis ever again as long as he was around. And in his mind, he was never letting him go any time soon.
