Genes POV

"No, no no no no no no and another no." Zenix almost shouts folding his arms and raising an eyebrow.

"Oh come on, it's not that bad, just for a couple of weeks!" I plead.

"Why can't you do it?" He asks in his annoying high school voice.

"Because I'm already taking the kids party costume job, all you have to do it dress up as a hot dog and sell hot dogs, I on the other hand have to dress up as a storm trooper for a little boy's birthday party!" I fling my hands up in the air trying to look convincing.

"Fine! But only for a couple weeks, then I am never eating a hot dog ever again"

I had managed to get an apartment on the same floor as Sasha which was good, so it can be easier to keep an eye in her.

When I think about it actually it seems kinda depressing, for me at least. The way I yelled and slaps her, I was a jerk.

"I'm gonna go see if Sasha's at her apartment, and you see if you can get anything on her boyfriend." I say. He flings his head backs and sighs in frustration.

"Ok, I think the last name is Liams."

"Why don't I just go talk to her? I mean our friendship never really ended. But you sealed yours with a magical fight." Said Zenix.

"Zenix she can't know that we are living in the same building, she'd have my head removed!" I practically yelled across the apartment.

"Ok technically your the one who's been abusive and two when did I say I was gonna tell her we where in the same building?!" Zenix snapped.

"Fine go over and talk to her I don't care."

Sasha's POV

There was a knock on my door, I don't normally have visitors so this was a change. Inside I was praying to Irene that it wasn't Gene again.

But when I opened the door.

"Hey Sasha" Zenix says.i squint my eyes at him.

"Ok Genes the one your mad at, I on the other hand did nothing." He defended.

"Well you could have stopped what was going on with Gene." I stated a little frustrated.

"I need to use the bathroom be right back."

I sighed and waited for Zenix, suddenly a cold hand grasped onto my mouth and started pulling me towards the window. I tried screaming for Zenix but it was muffled. I suddenly felt a wave of pain flashed through me as the stranger pulled out a siringe and stabbed it into my arm and everything goes black.

Zenix's POV

I finished in the bathroom and walked out.

"Hey Sasha you have cool...." I look around and she's not there. "Soap" I finish.

I look in every room and call her name the windows open widely like it had been broken into. There where black markings on the window pain. I suddenly realised who had done this and raced across the hall to gene.

"GENE." I shouted, he jumped in his seat and held onto his heart. "Sasha has been taken" I say slowly trying to catch my breath.

He shot up and power walked over to me. "WHAT? HOW I thought you where with her!!!" He shouted and pulled on his hair.

"And I think I know who did it..." I state sadly.

"Who?" He questions with the same sad tone.

"You know the guy that had taken Sasha before, the guy who made her into a demon?"

He nodded sadly but then it turned to anger. He suddenly ran out the door and down the streets while pulling his coat on. I soon catches up with him and he turned into an alleyway.

"Gene where are we?" I asked looking around.

"The day I bought the house I found a note taped to one of the moving boxes." He started explaining.

"Well what did it say?"

"If you ever want her back come to kinglyne alley. I thought it was just a stupid joke until now." He said angrily his eyes turning a shade of red.

"Hey listen, she's strong, she'll get out of there." I reassured placing a hand on my shoulder.

"But what if she doesn't, I mean what if she never comes back. The last thing I said to her where words of hate. I should have just let it go it was a stupid thing about a girl I went on like what five dates with until I ditched her. I doubt she ever beat her. I was a fool." I finished.

"It wasn't your fault, you where just angry because you thought someone you loved hurt someone you cared about." He answers.

"We both liked her, we both had kissed her before. But you have no idea the gu--" I stop mid sentence.

"We need to save her lets go!" I say determined. We dashed down the road and passed by cars.

We asked around but either no one seemed interested in helping us or they didn't see anything. I was starting to panic.

"Zenix where did he take her the last time?" Gene asked quickly.

"Gene you know that place was broken into so it can't be used again and you know that place is miles away." He sighs in frustration.

Genes POV

Why was I so stupid all these years I've been an idiot.

Sorry I haven't been updating because during the summer we had a new extension to the house so I couldn't use the wifi while that was going on but it's finished now so I can update again! Sorry for the long wait.
