Sasha's POV

Me, Zenix and Gene sit around the table, talking.

"So Gene, how did it go?" Zenix asks.

I tilt my head in confusion.

"How did what go?" I curiously ask.

"Genes date of course!" Zenix laughs. "You already knew that." He says.

Suddenly, it's like the air is knocked out of my lungs. I don't know why I'm feeling sad about it, because we aren't together. But it still hurts.

Gene stands up and walks away , I look over to where he went and see him and another girl kissing.

Really?

I didn't recognise her so she must not be from here.

My heart crumbling under the rejection of my feelings towards him. 

I pick up my bag and start walking away.

"Hey Sasha where you going?" Zenix shouts as I walk away.

"Home" I say simply. Gene didn't seem to notice my leave, he was a bit busy at the looks of it.

Zenix runs up to me and starts shaking me.

"Wake up Sasha Wake up!" He shouts. What did he mean.

He continues shouting those words until I black out.

I sit up swiftly and look around the room.

Oh my Irene, it was just a stupid dream." I say to myself. I try to lift my body up further but an ache spreads throughout my bones.

I need to stop going to the hospital.

My heart skips a beat when I notice gene sitting on a chair beside my bed sleeping. His hair is all messy and he has bags under his eyes. I frown, he looked like he didn't get a wink of sleep.

Trying not to wake him I lift my legs of the bed and try to stand. I wince, pins and needles.
