when moonbin heard about you the love of his life being in a coma, he snapped.
when nurse taeil reluctantly held back the room you were kept in, moonbin was infuriated, holding his nurse against the wall, wanting to get the room number forcefully.
"damn it, where is she?! this damn hospital can't even tell me where to find my girlfriend who's currently in a coma? are you kidding?" moonbin screeched, not afraid to hit the trembling nurse as other hospital workers gathered around the scene, trying to calm down moonbin.
it wasn't until he heard a voice of a specific someone, then he calmed down.
"moonbin-ah...what's going on?"
it was your mother, Mrs. L/N.
she was looking at the male in complete terror, not expecting her daughter's boyfriend to have such potential to do terrible things like that.
moonbin on the other hand, immediately loosened his grasp on nurse taeil as he let his arms down, looking relieved as he turnt around, getting a glimpse of your mother's face.
"Mrs. L/N...w-where's Y/N?" moonbin asked, his voice sounding so diminutive in contrast to his treacherous voice a few minutes ago.
Mrs. L/N pressed her lips into a thin line as trembled, the mention of her daughter's name making her very sensitive.
"moonbin-ah..."
"Mrs. L/N—"
"come with me...okay?" was all the older female replied with, leaving moonbin feeling anxious.
—
after moonbin's burst of anger, he was calmed down after Mrs. L/N had taken him to see finally see Y/N.
the walk was filled with tension, with both adults keeping silent as they traveled through the hospital corridors.
at last, after minutes of awkward silence, moonbin spoke.
"why didn't Y/N tell me about this?" he croaked, feeling broken about imagining his poor Y/N laying in the hospital bed.
"my daughter was afraid you would leave her because of her condition. before she left you, her doctor had told her that she would probably not survive her disease, as it was getting worse."
silence then made its way back in between the two people.
suddenly, Mrs. L/N stopped as she tensed up, her lips trembling; standing in front of a hospital room.
"this is Y/N's room, moonbin. im sorry if our family ignored your calls when Y/N was gone...she told us before getting into a coma to not be in contact with you—she didn't want you to make a fuss over her. My daughter is a very stubborn person, as you know. But one thing is for sure, she loves you. That's why she didn't want to answer your calls. It may see messed up, but if you look in her eyes, she had did it for your future, because if she had died, you wouldn't be mourning over her; but instead loving another person like the way you loved her."
