7 months later...
Narrator's POV
Several months have passed and the situation just keeps on getting worse. Every phone calls that Jek answers from her Dad is a tension to her. However, they got three months before graduation and the news hasn't broke yet to Mich and their friends. But, Jek knows that if she keeps this longer the more Mich is gonna be disappointed.
Sam's POV
We're now heading home. We just got back from an intense Saturday practice, but Jek seems to be out of focus. It started when she got a call from her Dad.
"Oh sh*t!" Jek said out loud.
I looked at her and she spilled her drink. See? That's what I'm talking about.
"Ahm? Pardon your French?" Barbie said looking at her from the back seat.
"Jek, are you okay?" I asked.
"Ya, I'm fine." She said as she grab a napkin from the compartment.
"No, I mean are you okay?" I said meaningfully and she responded with a 'huh?' look.
"Dude, you've been somewhere out there the entire practice." Barbie said and bite from her donut.
"Exactly, I mean, Jek what is it?" I said and she rests her back against the seat.
She took a deep breath as I turn right to our building. Few turns later and we reached our parking floor and went straight to the elevator. Jek grabbed her card pass and opened the door. Storm and Sky rushed down the stairs and went crazy when they saw us. We went to our own rooms, did our routines and go down. I see Barbie in the living room, but no Jek. Few moments later and I see her going down the stairs. She went to the kitchen and came out with a glass of water.
"I'm ready to tell Mich." Jek said out of nowhere.
"Dude, Sab texted me and she's asking if we wanna go to the Universal Studio tonight." Barbie said looking on her phone.
"We will." Jek responded meaningfully and sit on the cushion.
"I haven't even agreed yet." I said looking at her.
She gave me a meaningful look as she drink her water.
"Are you sure 'bout this?" Barbie asked.
Angelica's POV
I nodded and say, "And maybe I could make her come with us."
"What?! Are you out of your f*ckin' mind?!" Sam unbelievably said.
I didn't answer but I shrugged my shoulders as a respond instead.
"But, Jek your Dad. You know how he is with Mich." Barbie said trying to focus on the video game.
"We have a deal." I said and pet Storm resting beside me.
"But you know that he'll refuse to what you want." Sam said while standing with actions.
"Then we'll make an even better deal." I continued and grab the other controller.
I looked at Sam and see her shake her head as she turns to the kitchen. I know that sounded crazy, but what else can I do? That's the only thing I can do payback from my Dad. Lets just hope it works, because either way, I have to go to the Philippines.
