"oh, you must be baek's new tutor." baekbeom gives chanyeol a grin and offer him his hand, "i'm baekbeom. nice to meet you."
chanyeol accept his hand while introducing his self, shaking it firmly. he thinks that baekbeom is charming, his eyes are shining and his smile match the same level of cheerful. but baekhyun's orbs are captivating.
meanwhile baekhyun in the background is crossing his arms, eyes set on his laptop. "is my little brother doing well? he always makes his tutor runaway." baekbeom lets out a small chuckle, "you're the ninth tutor we have."
chanyeol thought on why they can't stand baekhyun. they just don't know him. this short guy is an einstein with angelic voice.
"no. he's doing really well, actually." chanyeol smiles down at baekhyun who's still staring at his laptop.
"what?" baekbeom raises a questioning brow. "baek, you didn't threaten him to say good things about you, right?" it was supposed to be a joke, but baekbeom kinda mean it.
baekhyun didn't say anything, so chanyeol decided to be the one who answers on that. "don't you trust him?" baekhyun's ears perk up, anticipating the answer.
baekbeom didn't immediately answer. "uh, o-of course. i just- baekhyun is different from me. and his tutors before always failed to teach him, so i guess now he failed too."
baekhyun's fist is clenching under the table, a contrast to his blank face.
"are you even his brother?!" chanyeol exploded, "how come you don't trust him?!"
"didn't i just tell you that?" baekbeom tries to calm his self, he doesn't know why chanyeol acts like that.
"why are you even comparing yourself to baekhyun anyway?!" chanyeol glares at him, his eyes burn with rage.
"because he is an opposite of me! i just state the fact, so what? everyone knows that!" baekbeom answer, his tone increasing.
"you-"
"chanyeol." the two of them quiet down by the short word of baekhyun calling the giant. "please leave."
"but-"
"don't make it worse." baekhyun stares at him, his face void of any emotion. chanyeol feel his heart shattered. sure baekhyun always told him to leave after they're done. but this time is different.
after their little staring contest, chanyeol broke their gaze. "sure, if that's what you want. i'm just making it worse. lying is better i see." he storms out of the room, slamming the door behind him. leaving the byuns siblings alone in his room.
baekhyun watch his retreating figure. his heart is pleading for chanyeol to come back, but he knows he won't. because this is baekhyun.
he always messed everything up.
