"what do you want to be in the future?" baekhyun suddenly asked him. his eyes still trained in the paper while his hand writing the asnwers.
"um, well-" chanyeol clears his throat. "i want to be a music producer."
baekhyun's surprised orbs meet his, he didn't expect chanyeol to be a musical type. but then he notices on how those long fingers moving, like he's playing piano or making a beat. "that's cool."
"you really think so?" chanyeol said in a hopeful voice. and baekhyun nods, that's all chanyeol needs. "my parents aren't approve of that." he huffs.
"what? why?"
"well, they want me to be someone more useful, more classy. like a ceo, or a doctor." he chuckles bitterly. music is his hobby, and he can't pursue his dream.
"so what? at least it's your hobby and you're doing something you like. what would we do without music in this world, anyway? being a musician is about art, why is it not classy?" baekhyun spoke. chanyeol notices on how rilled up baekhyun is on the topic, even though he manages to hide it with his omotionless face.
"you're right. thanks, baek." chanyeol ruffles the shorter's hair. feeling his soft hair on his hand makes his mood went up fast.
