( The Narrator)
You probably have heard it before, people have talked about it many times over the years. The Slender Mansion. It never was easy for me to explain how or why this place existed within the spiritual realm. But then again, this world has always been strange. Spiritual beings being able to physically travel to the physical realm. Some did it through computers, TV, and games. While others made their own portals to go through. Magick. It was something that many people knew about, but I didn't think it would take me as far as I got, and honestly. I'm impressed with how far I managed to get. These creatures...no people. That they called the Creepypasta. Became some of the best people I ever met. Killers?...I guess you could say that. There was so much more to it then I knew about it at first. A twist to this world that really made me think. What was really right from wrong? Why did you think these people vanished or died? The people around me who were supposably 'good' people dying left and right....but then, after the steps I started taking...slowly I began to understand.

(Mercy's pov)
Life. The very word sparked my imagination. Death...the very thought...was something that was so interesting. I was sitting in the public library at one of the computers, in one of those light wooden chairs that didn't do any justice for my back. Today I had been feeling a mix between happy and sad, knowing that it would be easy to anger me today, some how I was calm. So today I wore my long sleeved black hoodie that had a few broken heart designs on it, along with wearing my red skirt that reached just past my thighs. Wearing black leggings underneath my skirt so that I wouldn't show off a lot of skin, I was wearing black boots, with some black and red stripped thigh highs over my leggings. I had my short fluffy dark brown hair down today, and was working on one of my friends home work for her, typing away on the computer with my pale fair hands. I had just turned 21, and my friend had just turned 22. She had just went to collage, while I was still thinking about which one I wanted to go to. By this point I wanted to go to a collage that would help me further with my interest in the supernatural. My friend also was into the supernatural...but she was into it in a much different way then I was. I had been practicing magick for about 12 years, what was magick? Well magick was what a lot of people called 'witchcraft'. There were many people who were very religious when it came to what magick represented, but not me. I had no religion. I only believed in what I had done, seen, and what had already happened to me. I had many theories about many things of coarse, but at the end of the day I would always stick by what I knew, and hoped that I would learn something new about it each day. Even though I really liked practicing magick, and more then liked the danger that it can present, I tried to stay away from things I wasn't ready for. Yes I did like to jump into certain magicks without hesitation, but I wasn't stupid. I may have been a 'dare devil' but I always would watch and learn about something before trying it. My friend on the other hand, she had always been obsessed with one particular thing she considered to be supernatural, and that was the Creepypasta's. I had heard of the Creepypastas, but from what I had learned, I knew that it was not only dangerous, it was suicidal to try getting involved in, and I had already done some pretty deadly magicks by this age. As I typed away on the computer I couldn't help but want to search a bit more about the creepypastas. But when I tried to search, the search engine came up empty. For some reason this made a cold chill go down my spine, this never happened before. I decided to ignore my feelings and finish my friends homework. To tell the truth, I did know more about the 'creepypastas' then I should have. I knew about the Slender mansion, and more importantly where it was located. It turned out that it wasn't in the physical realm, but in the spiritual realm. I knew this because I had been astral traveling for quite a while. I didn't try to go in or say anything to the people I saw there. I made sure that when I was there that none of them could see me. I began to observe them, and slowly, I started to understand how they were with each other. They acted like almost any other family would...yet there was something different. Something I didn't quite understand at the time. Once I was done writing I had printed the work and stapled it together in order. I would walk over to the librarian before I left. She was a nice lady, her long black hair always placed in a neat bun, she was tan and would always wear a white work shirt and black pencil skirt, with black heels and tan pantyhose. She had black glasses over her bright green eyes" Hey Miss Archer?" I would say to the librarian" Yes Mercy?" She would ask with a smile on her face" I was trying to search about the creepypastas on the computer but nothing came up in the search bar. Are the search bars messing up again?" I would ask in a confused, and curios tone. Archer would shake her head" No. I had that particular search blocked so that people couldn't look them up. Your friend has been scaring people with her stories. Now that's not usually a problem, but just yesterday she scared a 5 year old so bad that he started to shake and cry. It took 3 hours to calm him down and explain to him that its not real. But Emily just wouldn't stop, I had to ask her to leave yesterday." Archer would explain in a sighing tone. I would sigh along with her" So that's why she asked me to do her home work today. I apologize for my friends actions. She really has started to become obsessed. I tried to get her to see the other sides of things so that she could understand that what she is doing can be very dangerous, not just for herself but for the people around her." I would say in a sighing tone. Archer would nod" Now you know I don't believe in any of that stuff. But I do agree with you. She needs to take things slow and look at what she's getting into before she does it. I mean even though you and me don't believe in the same things, we have come to an understanding in respecting each others choices. And we each think carefully, and look into things before we act on them." Archer would say in a calm, but kind tone. I would nod, even though I had only known Archer for about a year she more then respected my view, and I respected hers. We even had days where we would talk about the things we did and how it turned out for us when we tried certain things" Yes. I hope that my friends actions aren't a reflection of me. But if she makes anymore messes just give me a call. You guys have my number and I will try to clean up her messes so that it doesn't effect others." I would say in a calm and sighing tone. Archer would nod" You are always a big help here, ever since what happened a year ago you help cover up things so that people don't go into a mass panic. So no matter what, your friend is not a reflection you. You proved that the first day you moved to this town." Archer would say in a happy tone. I would lightly smile. It had been a year since I had moved here and a year since the incident. It was something stupid that my friend Emily had started. It was the reason I started wanting to know a bit more about the creepy pasta's and it happened in this very library.
But that was a story for another time" Well I'm heading home. I'll send this home work to Emily later. See you later Archer." I would say in a kind and more cheerful voice" See you later honey. Good luck." Archer would say waving at me as I walked away and left the library.
It took me about 30 minutes to get back home. I had moved into a re-modeled old house, some even said it was haunted. It was...well was, with a few exceptions. I lived in the forest, that was surrounded in pine trees, it was an old wooden house that was painted white, with a grey roof. I had the front and back yard neatly trimmed, with the exception of my rose garden in the back yard. A couple red rose bushes in the front of the house, I had a dirt drive way, and a metal garage to the left of the house. I had already parked and locked my small black car in the drive way. It wasn't mine. It belonged to my friend. She told me I could borrow it until I got my own car. I would walk up part of the dirt path, up to the front door. It was a nice sunny day today, bright blue sky's, not a cloud in sight, the sun was just starting to go down. It was probably 6pm once I got here. I would take the keys out from the pocket of the hoodie and would unlock and open the door, locking it back as I went inside. The house had about 4 levels, and 9 different rooms other then the living room and kitchen. The first level was where I was at, the living room, which had a few things in it. The walls were painted white, while the floors were made of oak wood. There was a small TV sitting in front of a brown sofa in the bottom left corner of the slightly large space, with a couple consoles and video games near it, along with the controllers that connected to them. In the top left corner was an opening that lead into the very boring kitchen. To the top right was the wooden stair case that lead upstairs, with a door beside it , closer to the right wall. In the between the stair case and kitchen opening, was a hallway that lead towards the washer room, and the back door that lead outside. The second floor was where I had my favorite rooms as well as a few guest rooms, while the top floor was the attic where my bed room was. The last floor was the basement, which one of my favorite rooms lead to. I would walk up the stairs, and walk down the hallway of the first floor till I got to the other stair case that lead into my bed room. My bed room was the second largest room in the house, and had plenty of room for my things. I had my bed in the top right corner of the room, facing the window that was in the top left corner. I had a computer in the bottom right corner that was sitting on a desk, with a black leather chair in front of it. That desk with that computer was where I did most of my work. I had a closet door in the middle of the left wall, while I had a few of my most favorite plush toys organized on the right side of the room near my bed. I had a lot of creepy plush dolls, many of them were the very voodoo dolls that I had made and learned to use. I couldn't sleep without something to hold. I would walk over to my bed and sit on the patchy orange and black pattern of the blankets that laid over it, before I would then sigh and place my head on my fluffy black pillow. Things certainly had changed from the life that I had before. It had already been a year, but the negative thoughts about how things once were crept into my mind once in a while. I had a job helping people with their supernatural problems, whether they were people in a house, a church, a park, a forest, finding missing people within police cases, or simply teaching people how magick and the supernatural worked. This was what I do. But some times I felt like I did more work then I was suppose to do. Ever since Emily went to collage she gave me her home work to do for her while she ether went out partying or went to that creepypasta fan group. It made me wonder whether she was my friend or if she was just using me to get closer to her fantasy of meeting Jeff The Killer. These thoughts worried me, what was she thinking? That these killers would just like her the moment they saw her and that she would then live with them in this big mansion? To me those thoughts were outrageous, and even if there was a possibility of her meeting them, it might not be what she thought it would be. I never agreed to help her with what she wanted, I more then anyone knew how rude and dangerous it was to mess with other peoples worlds, but some how I got sucked in, even if it was just a little bit. It was enough for me to want to find out to understand what it really was...Curiosity killed the cat. Good thing that cats have 9 lives right?
The cell phone in my hoodies pocket would vibrate. I quickly would pull it out and look at it, but it was just Emily trying to text me:
Emily: Hey girl! Are you up for tonight!?
Mercy: Why do you want to do this so bad? You know this is dangerous right?
Emily: I know but it could actually be really fun! Come on don't you want to see what BEN or Slender is like?
Mercy: Not really.
Emily: Come on Mercy it will be fun!
: I would roll my eyes at her message" Yeah 'fun'. That fun could get us killed." I would mutter before I would continue texting her:
Mercy: Are you really sure you want to do this? It can get us killed. And I'm not to sure if I trust your friend.
Emily: Come on Mercy, have some 'mercy' on my soul for once! Lol.
Mercy: Ha. Ha. Ha. Very funny...Fine. But don't blame me if we die or if it doesn't work.
Emily: Fine! I wont! Did you get my homework done?
Mercy: Yeah. Its done.
Emily: Good! We'll see you at 8!
I would sigh after I finished texting her, I wanted to ask her about what had happened at the library, but by this point I knew she would just blow it off like it was no big deal. Emily wanted to take her friends Tod and Matty to the forest and preform this new 'Slender man summoning' spell she found on the internet. Honestly I think she had been messing with some of my books of shadows and tweaking a few of my summoning spells. Emily never did any basic magicks, when ever she wanted something done she would come to me to get it done. I was interested when she said she 'found' this spell online. I looked up the spell she was talking about but had found nothing on it. But still I agreed just so she would stop asking. I had no idea what was going to happen from there. They decided they would do the spell in my back yard since my house was in the forest, so I decided to gather the items I needed. I would get some saltpeter, black salt, and some rose petals. The items needed were pretty simple, it also said to use a lighter...but I didn't need a lighter to make a flame. I decided to play some video games after I had made the set up in the backyard.
I played video games waiting for Emily and her friends to show up. Tod and Matty were almost as crazy as Emily was about the creepy pastas, only Matty was far more into it then Emily was. I never liked Matty or Tod, in fact I actually hated them. Matty and Tod would always make fun of the work that I did, even if it was something that interested them. I would sigh dreading the fact that they were coming" Ding Dong!" My door bell would go off. I would sigh as I walked to the door and open it, it had just turned to 8:00pm. Standing there was Emily, Matty, and Tod. Emily had long straight blond hair that she had tied in a pony tail, she was wearing a purple hoodie and a black skirt and black sneakers. Her skirt was short enough to show from her lower thigh down to the ankle, she had peachy fair skin, with bright blue eyes. Matty had curly red hair that reached past her shoulders, she was wearing a black hoodie and black pants with black sneakers, her skin was much paler then Emily's, and her green eyes went well with her hair. Tod had tan skin with blond shaved hair, he was wearing a white t-shirt and blue jeans with brown boots, and he blue eyes. Tod was Emily's older brother, he was 30, Matty was 22, the same age as Emily. The sky was now a dark navy almost black and the stars had been covered by the clouds...strange there weren't clouds before" Hey Mercy we're ready to go!" Emily would say in an exited voice" Yeah, we're here." Tod would say in a sly tone. I would roll my eyes" Are you ready to show us what you got?" Matty would ask in a smug tone as she smirked at me. I would roll my eyes again" Follow me to the back yard. I already have it set up and ready to go, all we need to do is start." I would say in a calm but kind tone, trying to be nice since Emily was there. I lead them through the house to where the back door was" Don't you ever decorate Mercy?" Matty would complain" No. My type of decorating scares people." I would reply back in a emotionless tone" Your so emo Mercy!" Matty would complain again. I would sigh and roll my eyes...god what a bitch.
Outside in the back yard I had combined the herb and salts together and had placed them on the ground, forming a pentacle in the middle of the back yard, far enough away so that it wouldn't catch my roses on fire, and still far enough away from the forest to where the trees wouldn't catch on fire with it. I made sure that a fire extinguisher was near by so that if the spell didn't work I would be able to put out the fire. Usually when a summoning spell like this worked, the fire would vanish and the being would appear. But for some reason this looked more like my old portal opening spell then it did a summoning spell. But ether way I knew how to fix both...or at least I thought I did" Why is there a fire extinguisher here? Are you going to catch the ground on fire and then put it out? Is that part of the spell?" Matty would ask in a hateful voice. I would shake my head" No. Its there just in case it doesn't work. No point in starting a fire without something to stop it! If it doesn't work the flames wont stop!" I would explain in an annoyed tone. Matty would chuckle while Emily giggled in excitement. Tod would just cross his arm" Heh, I don't know why I keep getting involved in your satanic worship." Tod would say in a smug tone. I would roll my eyes. Magick could be used in any religion, his close minded views showed me just how stupid he truly was. It was time to start. Emily, Matty, and Tod sat back closer to the garden so that they wouldn't be set of fire. I have done this many times...opening portals, summoning other beings. This was normal for me. I would stand in the middle of the pentacle, and begin to rub my hands, closing my hands I would move my hands apart and slowly place them close together until I felt the pressure of them trying to reject each other. I took this energy and began to slowly make a plasma ball: Fire, wind, earth, water: Where the thoughts that I chanted in my mind until I felt the heat in between my hands. I slowly opened my eyes seeing the small red flame in my hands. I would use the flame to light the circle, ignoring Matty, Emily, and Tod's gasps as the fire lit up the pentacle on the ground. The wind would begin to blow as I raised my hands high to the sky" Within the fire I see you. Within the air I hear you. Within the earth I stand with you. Within the water I feel the emotions that burn back into the flames. Faceless man of nature. Man of the shadows I call to thee, and ask for access to your realm. Allow me access into the world you see, allow me to walk where you walk. Hear what you hear, and see what you see. To all the realms of Gaia! Allow me to see this part of this world! Show me the spiritual side of the physical!" I would chant and shout the last words...wait. Something wasn't right, these words weren't how you summoned a being, you usually asked the being to come to you not the other way around...no this...this was to open a portal. A black swirling circle would start to form in front, slowly getting bigger until it was about 3ft taller then I was. My eyes would widen...she didn't. No Emily couldn't have just betrayed me! I would look back at Emily and she had this big smile that went from ear to ear" Tell me what it was like when you come back...Mercy!" Emily would yell in an evil tone as the portal started to draw in the fire and everything else around it. Emily, and Tod would hold on to the grass and rose bushes, but Matty wasn't so lucky. Within a quick second Matty was in the air "Ahhhhhhh!!! HELP ME!!" Matty would scream at the top of her lungs. I tried holding onto the ground as Matty got sucked into the portal. But it was all in vain as the grass I was holding would tear and I would be lifted into the air "I'll come back!!! And when I do your a dead bitch Emily!!" I would scream as the portal would suck me in. As I was pulled in, going backwards the portal had completely closed, sealing me in and spitting me out as quickly as it swallowed me. I would hit the ground hard, feeling the sharp but soft grass on the ground as I stopped by bumping into what felt like a tree trunk. I looked around, I was now in the middle of the forest, surrounded by pine trees, the sky was now a bright blue, the sun was starting to rise... so where ever I was it was day here while it was night in my world. Laying on my stomach and gritting my teeth in pain I would glance around and see Matty, with blood running down her forehead, she was knocked out and against one of the nearby trees...the hit must have knocked her out. How was I still awake? How did I not break one bone? I could hear foot steps walking closer towards us" Heh. Looks like we've got trespassers." I would hear a young males voice say in a slightly angry tone. I would look up, the boy had to be slightly taller then I was, he had short blond hair that went just to the middle of his neck, his bangs off to his right side. He had peachy pale skin and was wearing a green short sleeved tunic shirt with light pant pants, and dark brown leather boots, he had on a dark green hat that was long enough to reach his ankles, but some how stayed on his head...there was something strange about him, other then his long pointy ears, he had eyes that were consumed in black with red pupils, there were red blood stains on his cheeks" Hey Slender! We've got a couple of guests!" The boy would shout while he would look off in the distance. I would slowly try to get myself up, shaking slightly from the hard blow I took when hitting the ground I struggled to even stay on my hands and knees. Suddenly I would feel a heavy energy come over me, making it harder to get up, and suddenly a very tall faceless man with pure white skin would appear beside the boy, he was wearing a black suite and red tie, he had indentations on his faceless face that would show his mood, and he more then looked angry at me as he stared, this was more then obviously Slenderman" BEN. Who are these two?" Slender would ask the boy. BEN would smile" I don't know they suddenly popped out of no where!" BEN would say in a truthful but still slightly upset tone. Slender would take a good hard look at me and then Matty" Bring them to the mansion. Jeff can interrogate them." Slender would say in a harsh and cruel tone....Shit.
