*Jungkook's pov*
Soon the night changed and the time of the meeting had come. I was there, sitting a little further from others. The main reason why I was in this meeting was because I had to show the way. But I was happy this way too, at least I got to hear what they say.
Alice: I agree on what you said. Expelling Byungchul should work. But how do you make sure he doesn't go to the clan nearby us? We cannot take the risk he has a brother there.
Yongguk: I've planned on escorting him to the opposite side of our territory. He won't be able to go to the clan where his possible brother lives without going through our and your territory first. Once he first surrenders, we will take him away.
Alice: Can you guarantee he will not come back?
Yongguk: You will not have to worry about that.
The meeting goes on smoothly and there are no signs of Byungchul. Alice must have taken special care of that we won't be seen. As the two continue discussing, my concentration slowly drifts away. I notice Lucy, who has taken a step back from others. She looks somewhat absent... Is something wrong? She's not the type to get shocked by this kind of situation though. Why isn't she then paying any attention to the conversation? Maybe it's just that she has forgotten to check her herbs and is now counting them in her head... I should ask her after the meeting though.
Yongguk: So we'll do as we've now decided. We'll meet on the weekend after the next full moon, which is in a week. I'll gather a group of our best warriors and we will join your fight. Is this place fitting for the next meeting?
Alice: This will do. We are a bit far from the camp but it won't take too long to reach it. We can only hope the wind is pleasant to us on that day. We'll try our best to behave well and get some food to nourish ourselves.
That's when Lucy winced back to the present moment. Yongguk wasn't about to say anything anymore, but she walked in the front as if she had a point to announce. So she stood between the two and said with calm tone "Actually, Yongguk has thought about offering some food to you, haven't you?" Suddenly, Yongguk got stuck with words. His face turned into a stunned expression for a brief moment, but soon he got himself back together. "Yes, you are right. I have thought about that" he said fast as if it was true.
Lucy: I remember you mentioned something like... two calves a day?
»Two calves?? Hyung cannot accept that. It's our prey, after all.»
Luckily, Alice seemed to notice the situation and said "One calf a day is already very helpful. My clan thanks you."
Lucy: We'll bring the calf to the border each day at noon.
Alice: That would be very pleasant.
Yongguk: Good. I guess we're done with that.
Yongguk ends the meeting as fast as possible and the two groups start to vanish to separate ways. I slowly approach Lucy who is at the back of the group. She's smiling to herself.
Lucy: Yongguk didn't see that coming, did he? He was so baffled once he heard it and he knew he couldn't simply just dodge the situation. He must be annoyed at me now. Haha.
Jungkook: Why did you want to cause trouble to hyung? The prey is ours after all, not theirs.
Lucy: I didn't cause any trouble. On the contrary I helped. Now the clan will get more energy and expelling Byungchul won't be so hard for them. Yongguk tends to think too much about himself when he should think the best of all.
Jungkook: Umm... By the way, why were you so absent back then?
Lucy: Absent? Me?
Jungkook: Yeah, you were not paying any attention to the conversation hyung and Alice had until they began to talk about food. Is something... wrong?
Lucy: No, everything's just fine. I was just deep in my thoughts. You know, as a healer... you have to ponder all sort of things... It's just what we healers usually do, don't mind about it.
And now, she fell back into her thoughts again. I tried to continue the conversation but she wasn't listening at all. All she did was moving forward a little stiffly, and her gaze was somewhere far from the present. After arriving back to the camp she left my side without saying a word, keeping me wondering what she might be thinking...

*Lucy's pov*
»No... Not again, not like this. It happened again. And now, I cannot hide the truth anymore. She's in danger. Why it must be her... Why us... Why... I must tell Yongguk about this. He must be warned. SHE must be warned. Before it's too late. It happened again. Another prophecy.»

Okay, to be honest I feel like this chapter is super lame. Maybe it's because I haven't written like in two and half months... T-T I wanted to give you all a bit better Christmas gift, but this is all that I've got now...
But anyway, merry Christmas to all my wonderful readers (who still manage to keep up with this story since this author updates like twice a year...)! <3
I really feel very sorry for you all...
