Seriously, what's wrong with me today?
I went home after that, very reluctantly of course. Who would want to part with all those nice people? For some reason, just after I've entered the house alone -since my family needed to clean up and chit chat with their peers while I was supposed to go rest as the birthday girl- I had this sudden urge to play that otome game Aaron had given me... But why would I even be in interested in that?
I got comfy and prepared to face the wonders of what this otome will give me, also to prove Aaron that he was wrong to give his girlfriend something like this.
But something's wrong. No, nothing is wrong but I have this sickening feeling that the faces on the screen weren't supposed to look that way. It's wrong, it's all wrong. Why would I think that??? Is something wrong with me?
Then my phone rings and it's Aaron, really good timing. I picked it up and his first words were, "What did you think of the game?"
I don't like it. I don't like this weird feeling that everything in here is wrong.
"The game? Ugh.. I guess it's fine? I don't really play these games so I wouldn't know. In the first place, who gives their girlfriend a dating sim?? Hey, you aren't saying you wanna break up with me right?"
"Ah, so you haven't noticed after all. I'm dissapointed."
Hmm? What? What haven't I noticed? Did he actually intend to break up with me like this? This sort of thing-!
"No, you listen up. I'm not breaking up with you like this. Give me a satisfactory reason why I should be fine with such a method to dump me!! "
"Kiera.... No, it should be Ruri, remember? Why aren't you waking up? Do you not want to meet your precious crush ever again? What of your sister? And your family?"
"R-Rurii.. I don't understand?"
Then everything went pitch black. Only the screen on the TV was lit and in it was my boyfriend. Ah? I had a boyfriend? When did I get one??
It hurts. My head hurts alot!!
"Kiera, I'm with your sister, don't you want her anymore? Look at her, she's squirming for help... Don't you want to save her?"
"k-kuh... Kiera!!!"
I saw Aaron clutching a woman's neck.. He was strangling her...
"Wait! No, why would you do this?? Aaron, don't do it!! Aaron!!!"
I watched the woman who was being strangled grow more and more lifeless every passing second... Why would Aaron do this?? Why am I grieving so much?? Why are tears forming in the back of my eyes like this??
"Ah, but it's too late, Kiera... Your beloved sister has died."
And with those words, the woman who was squirming under his grasp was now silent, and I know what that meant. A tear silently dropped from my eye.
