So here are books you HAVE to read :)
Action
Warriors series- it's basically a bunch of politics, romance, drama, and action, but all the characters are cats!
Maze Runner- it's so amazing if you don't know what it is then are you really a reader?? Jkjk it's amazing READ IT
Magnus Chase- diversity, comical characters, creative plot, AND Norse Mythology. Rick you really out did yourself
Michael Vey- HOLY CRAP NO ONE HAS READ THIS SERIES IT'S AMAZING. Basically this dude can shoot lightning and then his crush and his mom gets kidnapped whatever will he do?? It's amazing
Caraval- so I got this in my OwlCrate (monthly book subscription thing it's amazing GET IT) and literally I ADORE this book. You will never guess the ending and I loveee the characters and I read it super quickly cause I was in LOVE
Trials of Apollo- honestly hilarious and so creative. 10/10 would recommend
Divergent- don't read it but also do cause I love it
Kane Chronicles- I gobbled this crap up tbh loved it
And ofc Percy Jackson/Heroes of Olympus- honestly just read it, 'kay?
Sci-fi
So a lot of the books above could've been sci-fi but I put them as action oops
5th Wave- soooo funny and sad and dramatic I loved it
Hunger Games- honestly just read it I LOVE IT wow
Fantasy
Harry Potter- for obvious reasons
The Darkest Part of the Forest- JUST READ MY CHAPTER ON IT
Red Queen- I love this series soo much?? I hates the second one though but I loved the first one so much I had to put it here
Mystery
The Assassin's Game- this book is SO good omg read it I loved it you'll never guess who the killer is wow

Chains- this book is absolutely amazing and heart breaking I adored it
