A Normal Day, Chapter 16

I came back a few minutes later with a blanket and some soup. Pulling my coat around me, i walked inside, Man was it warm in here. I hung my coat up and strolled back up the stairs to the Neighbors room. He was dressed and was sat on the edge of the bed, reading a book.

"Hey, Come on lets get you downstairs" I smiled at him and helped him up, Book still in hand. "Look its snowing!" i heard someone shout. Really? Snow at this time of the year? Your kidding right.

"Here, i know it may be early for this but have some soup. it works for me" I handed the neighbor the steaming bowl. "Careful, its hot" he was sat in the armchair in front of the warm, open fire. He sighed whilst reading his book, the soup balanced on top. i plopped myself on the arm of the sofa, near the neighbor and next to Razz.

"Well, isnt this nice, everyone gathered round fire with the light of the tv on" I spoke up,

"Yup, it sure is" Mike replied.

"Hey Mr Wilson, Your very quiet today, not your normal self" Jack said, looking over to the neighbor. He was sat opposite him. The neighbor looked up and sighed.

"I know... im sick..." He replied, eyes glued to the book. i had an idea so i got up, got the blanket and crept up behind the neighbor. "I know your behind me Sammy" He suddenly exclaimed.

"Aw how'd You know"

"I have my ways"

"Mkay" I got the blanket and wrapped it around him, making sure he was warm. I then sat back down on the sofa. He looked at me and smiled. Aw, Hes kinda blushing a bit. Razz had gone to his room by now, he was probably on his laptop playing games and the neighbor stood up and sat next to me.

"Is this musical chairs?" I joked, looking down at him. The neighbor chuckled and scooted even closer to me, eyes diverted down. He sighed once more.

"Aw come on Neighbor, Cheer up" I cuddled him, trying to make him feel better.
