Oli's POV
I turned into Joel's room, opening the door slightly. Then I saw it... "Lizzie!" I said surprised. I saw them quickly separate.
"Oli... I" She stuttered and turned bright red. I couldn't believe she was kissing him!
"How could you, Lizzie? We might have just started going out, but yesterday on the bus ride here, I told you things I told no one else. My dreams and goals in life. We became so close within two days. And you choose to come and kiss this guy you barely know! I can't..." I felt tears roll down my face.
"Joel kissed me.... I just didn't kn-" I left before Lizzie could finish what she was saying. I grabbed my bag off the floor, my laptop from my room, and went to English.
Joel's POV
I just kissed Lizzie, Oli saw, and Lizzie's the one paying for it. Her eyes were like waterfalls.
"Liz-"
"Don't talk to me..." She stood up, still crying and ran to her room.
"Lizzie..." I said softly. I walked out of my room and saw Yammy and Lauren, their jaws dropped. "How much of that did you see?"
"Well, when did you kiss her?" Yammy said.
"Oh great..."
"You okay?" Lauren asked.
"I don't know. Can someone go check on Liz?" My eyes were tearing up.
"Let's go!" Yammy said pointing towards Lizzie's door.
Lizzie's POV
What did I do!? Why did I kiss Joel back? Why do I like Joel? Do I still like Oli? Tears streamed down my face.
"Knock knock!" Yammy said as she and Lauren opened my door.
"What?!" I snapped.
"We wanted to check on you. We know what happened with Joel and Oli, and we know you didn't mean to snap at us. You're a good person and we just didn't start off good. So we are starting fresh. What's wrong?" Lauren said.
"I hurt Oli. Joel leaned in to kiss me, I kissed him back and Oli saw... I understand that I just met them yesterday, but I feel like we all have this connection."
"Well, how do you feel about Oli?" Yammy asked.
"I like him, a lot!"
"Joel?" Lauren questioned.
"Well, I sorta-kinda think I maybe might like him too..." She trailed off and looked at the floor.
"Loves crazy and you gotta take it slow." Yammy was acting very wise.
"Thanks guys! I feel like we are gonna be the best of friends!" I wiped my tears, then pulled the girls into a group hug.
"Try and talk to Oli about how you are feeling, who knows, maybe it will fix things."
"He's not gonna wanna talk to me... I kissed another guy, right after I kissed him. I hate myself for even getting involved with two of the three guys in our dorm."
"Don't hate yourself!" Joel said.
"Liz, I heard everything. I like you a lot too, but we," he gestured to me, Joel and himself. "need to figure this out. Together." He looked at Joel. "Let's start over, we can try to work things out. And do whatever we think is best." Oli looked adorable, taking control like that.
"You guys will figure this out." Yammy said. She and Lauren both gave me a tight squeeze and left the room. I looked down at the floor. Joel came and sat on my right side and Oli to my left, just like the night of truth or dare. I once again wanted to lay back and go home. Go home to my little sister, Maddie, to help her take care of my mom, to help her get through secondary school. Go home to be away from these two guys who I liked so very much... To go home
