Skylars pov

I'm on my bed holding my bear, crying when I suddenly get a text. I look out my window and meet Adym's gorgeous eyes and smile.

Adym and Skylars text

Adym: Hey, you ok?

Skylar: yeah, Nick told me we would talk later

Adym: I'm really sorry....

Skylar: Don't be, I enjoyed it. tbh I've had a crush on you for a while..

Adym: Rlly?? I've had a crush on you for a while to

Oh my god, Adym just told me he likes me back!!! I think about Nick and how he said we would talk later. He's been in his room ever since. There's nothing but silence throughout the house. Adym and I text for about 45 minutes until I hear moving around in Nick's room. I quickly text Adym back after I hear Nick moving around,

Skylar: Gotta go, i hear Nick moving around and I think he's gonna come out.

Adym: hope everything goes good

I quickly delete Adym and I's text and put my phone in my pocket, just in time to hear Nick open his door.

 I get a knock on my door and Nick comes in, "hey."

When Nick came in, I had my head in between my legs and stomach and I was hugging my bear. Ya know, just cuz i'm dramatic af, also I'm mad at him so ya know...

Nick: We need to talk

I ignore Nick and stay in my position.

Nick: I know you're mad, but can you look at me when I talk to you?

I stay in the same position hoping he'll just leave.

Nick: Skylar, now. don't make me make your punishment worse.

I lift my head up glaring at Nick, holding back more tears, "I'm 18 years old!! Just cause you're turning 20 in a few days, you have no right to give me a punishment!! It's my life!!!

Nick sighs, "Skylar, if you consider yourself grown then you need to make good decisions not stupid ones! You turned 18 a a few weeks ago and now you think you're so grown when you're not! Just listen to me so I can give you your punishments!!

Skylar: It's. My. Life!

Nick sighs, keeping his cool, "Skylar, you're grounded. No electronics, no leaving the house, noone can come over. You've gotten in enough trouble growing up so you should know how everything works."

Skylar: I did nothing, that's not fair!!

Nick continues, "give me your phone."

Skylar: No.

Nick: Now Skylar!!

Skylar: But-

Nick: SKYLAR!! I don't wanna fight, I just came to give you your punishment!!!

I hand Nick my phone, "how can I listen to music??"

Nick: You already know when you're in trouble, you get no radio. So I'll be taking your radio, computer, and your Tv? All I have to do is press a button on my phone and your Tv power is gone."

I glare at Nick before he leaves, "I FREAKING HATE YOU!!!" 

As soon as the words left my mouth, I immediately regretted it. He's my brother and I love him but he pisses me off. I'm 18 years old. I look at Nick, and I can tell he's still mad but at the same time he looks a little hurt. Nick closes my door and I hold my bear and shut my eyes tight. I hate how life can go from bad, to good, to bad.
