I was just about to head out to the diner to relive Jason when Jason comes in with his face bloody and bruised.
"What the hell happened to your face"
"Nothing you need to worry about babe" Jason lies, I can tell cuz he avoids eye contact.
"Jason truth now" I order.
He tells me about the whole north explosion.
"Ok we'll get some sleep and put some Cream on your face, I am going to work" I kiss him On the lips "love you babe" I call as I head out the door. When I get to the diner I walk to the kitchen to greet uncle.
"Uncle Jason came in with a beaten face can you tell me if he...." I trail off when I see nine guys with uncle.
"Little bird Jason didn't do any fighting I promise" I nod and start working. While I worked I ignored the guys attempts to talk to me and I only talked to uncle. They were still there when my shift ended.
"Uncle I am leaving I don't think your gonna want Jason coming in tomorrow he looks like hell"
"Little bird tell him I said he cannot come in until he looks better and I will see you guys tonight"
"Oh shoot I totally forgot about that sorry to do this to ya uncle but can we do that tomorrow"
"No problem little bird just take care of that awesome man you got"
"I will uncle he will be good as new when I am done with him"
"Well you got north to thank for ruining his face"
"Yah I am surprised that Jason didn't fight back though he could have pinned him in seconds"
Uncle shakes his head and chuckles
"Have a good nigh little bird" I walk out ignoring the voices saying to wait up.
